this fight is huge. There's not many chances that you can get guys that are in the top 4 pound for pound in the world to face each other. It's a great fight, rated just where it should be.
Using a ton of vaseline on your body against a ground opponent isnt domination, its cheating. Even Dana White was pissed that GSPs corner was doing that. And no, even after wiping it off, vaseline still makes you slick as hell once you start sweating. Silva vs. GSP would be no contest. Silva would destroy him easily. I love the UFC, but this is one thing I don't like. Stop showing us the fighters practically hugging each other before a fight. That's something we'd like to see AFTER the fight. Using a ton of vaseline on your body against a ground opponent isnt domination, its cheating. Even Dana White was pissed that GSPs corner was doing that. And no, even after wiping it off, vaseline still makes you slick as hell once you start sweating. Silva vs. GSP would be no contest. Silva would destroy him easily. GSP is good, dont get me wrong, but nowhere near Anderson Silva.

I love the UFC, but this is one thing I don't like. Stop showing us the fighters practically hugging each other before a fight. That's something we'd like to see AFTER the fight. Tension needs to build up between the fighter before a fight to build suspence, and a part of that is to keep them away from each other but allowing the trash talking to continue. That's how you hype a fight up to its maximum potential.

If you really believe BJ went down to lightweight because he couldnt handle welterweight, you need to learn somthing about BJ. His natural bodyweight when hes in shape puts him in lightweight.
When he was in welterweight he was fighting guys bigger then he was (fyi: GSP is bigger) and he still dominated some of those guys...and yes he dominated matt hughes.
Respect to GSP and BJ....gonna be a good fight!
