Warm salt water and aspirin or tylenol helps, but if you're in acute pain and don't have or can't afford a dentist go to the ER. Sounds crazy but they will give you pain meds and most importanly antbiotics.

You still need to see a dentist but pain meds and especially antibiotics are essential. I'd even call a family doc for antibiotics if you don't have a dentist. I've done that.

Don't sit trying home cures if you're in severe pain.

everyone i have found something its not expensive and works almost instantly i have a cracked tooth and a tooth with lost filling so i was in huge pain my uncle told me go to walgreens so i did he said get this stuff its called REDCROSS its 7 bucks so i did i also got temp filling i went home he told me use the cottonball and hold it on my gum and tooth warning it taste nasty as hell within 5 minutes my pain was gone put temp filling to cover it up and the 12 dollars i spent in all was worth it

if its infected use cold water to rinse your mouth if its not infected use warm water to rinse. infections due better in colder temps. it will relieve pain for a short period. i wanna take a skillet and beat my head over and over till i pass out for some relaxing sleep..... the water has helped me somewhat, hope it helps you.

I am in pain also something is really bad with a tooth I have done last year. It wakes me up from my sleep and cant go back =(

I will call a dentist and im sure will have to wait at least 2-3 weeks appointment. Might as just check what is wrong and do it when I am back home.

Step 1. You must sanitize your mouth by gargling with Hydrogen Peroxide for as long as you can stand it.

Step 2: use Mouthwash for as long as you can stand it.

Step 3. brush your teeth and don't be easy on the infected area. Repeat all three steps every few hours and avoid sugar products like the plaque and in four days you will have relief. Drink icewater to reduce swelling in infected area if you can stand it. Holla back WHEN this works for you

I had a filling pop out of my molar about 2 years ago & I never went to the dentist. I didn't have any pain until about a month ago when it got soo bad that I couldn't even sleep. I tried every trick & tincture I could find online when finally I decided to eat antibiotics & the pain all went away within 2 days. I took cephalexin 500mg b/c you can buy it on ebay w/out a prescription. It sells on ebay as treatment for fish tanks but it's the exact pill you get if you had a script. Try it....

if you have a tooth ache and dont wanna take anymore painkillers/pain relief tablets, then u can put clove oil on the gum and it should relieve the pain in about 5 mins, u can purchase clove oil from places like holland & barrats :) good luck

I get toothaches EVERYDAY and same for headaches i usually have a headache at the same time as the toothache. I have learned how to deal with my headache but not with my toothache and my toothaches usually start when i hear like loud noises or if i move too much and sometimes they start when i lay down to go to sleep i have one right now and the pain feels like someone just hit me in the jaw with a baseball :(
