amazing costume but i dont think russell crowe is a good choice for jor-el but dont get me wrong hes a great actor just i think it might not be his kind of role
Being that Jor-El looks a little young, I wonder if the time line on Krypton might go back a few years even before Kal is born, it might be expected that in this new SP movie, there might be a little more historical screen time story about Krypton. of course that could also be used as flash backs maybe.
Continued...This is why Jor-el had to create a space ship for his son to escape the planet, rather than just fly him to earth and fly himself back to die. More over, this is why all kyptonians perished, cause they simply could not all fly away. No yellow sun, no power of flight. Kypton’s sun was a red giant in the final phase of it’s and Kytpon’s lifecycle.
@sanderflop LOL, now I "might" be mistaken about this, but I was under the impression that a Kyptonian only has super strength under the conditions of a yellow sun, which by the time Kypton itself is about the be distroyed, would have not been the case for atleast a million years.
@sanderflop The whole red giant thing? Jeez...A kyptonian does not get power from a red sun or a blue sun, but only from a yellow one. In theory, If superman found himself in a world with say a blue sun, i.e. the blue dwarf phase, he would lose his power as he used it up. The yellow sun recharges his powers, all other colors do not. No Kyptonian would have had special powers in the final “several” million years of their suns lifecycle due to the red giant phase of their sun's lifecycle.
