To end this Pooh/Toad debate once and for all,,,please understand that Mr. Toad was a hit for more than twenty-five years! The ride was simply classic. Whether you loved Toad or hated it, you never forgot The Train! But all great things must end someday, and the Pooh ride is a worthy successor!
I miss Mr. Toads ride so much, went there on break and found it was gone replaced with this. They could have easily accommodated both rides in the park. It's just bad form for them to close a ride that's been around forever for a more modernistic theme.
In the opening of the 2nd room (owl room), there is a picture of Toad handing Owl the deed to the ride. immediately look to the far left as the car enters the 2nd room. Owl has his wing over Toad in a consoling manner. This video does not capture the picture, but other WTP vids on youtube do. Check it out.
the one in Tokyo ROCKS!!!!!!!! and it is way better i have been to the Disney land's in 0rlando'Paris'Tokyo and Anaheim i am going to Hong Kong one in 2011 watch poohs honey hunt Tokyo it's boss
Very dull for a Disney ride, but props to the videographer, great job in capturing the highlights of this ride, this ride is like going to a gigantic baby funiture store
trust me. You didn't really miss much. they're just blinded by nostalgia. That or I'm just blinded by my rage towards Toad for scarring me when I was six >>
ya see, when i go back (next June) i will be 18, and last time i went i was 12, and i am (i know how sad) looking forward to this ride, dont get me wrong, i am an absolutly adrenilin Junkie! give the biggest fastest! ride ever, but i think when i go on this i will really relate to my childhood, haha! omg, i still remember the songs :S ...
im exactly the same way... loove the roller coasters and free falls a ton... but plop me down in a winnie the pooh or peter pan ride (or anything disney) and ill have a blast.. im also 18, and just got back from disney world.. rode this 3 times
i think this ride was adorable! i think i ride this more then say tower of terror, its just a relaxing way 2 enjoy urself and feel the magic of disney. great job on the video 2!!!
Thank you so much for doing this. This is the best I have seen with such a great soundtrack. It has allowed us to keep the magic alive for my 2 year old son. He asks to watch the pooh cars.. thank you.
There are little children (and older adults, gasp!) who delight in these rides that make their imaginations come alive or remind them of sweet stories they grew up on.
I know I get irritated by the people who pass these types of rides off as mere "kids rides", they don't appreciate the art, visuals, and storytelling. I LOVE these types of rides and i'm 20. lol.
excellent video. I loved that ride. My favorite scenes are with Tigger and the Heffelumps and Woozles scene. Plus, I actually prefer this ride over Mr. Toad. I HATED that ride as a kid ><
Where did you get the ride's soundtrack from?

I cried at the part with the hefalumps. It was too dark. That was when I was 7.

I miss Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, but this one is great, too. My favorite effect is when Pooh falls asleep while guarding his honey.
It was a great experience when I took my oldest daughter (then 4); we're going back this summer with all three!

Wow I love dark rides. LOL this is much more elaborate than the simple Pooh ride at the california disneyland

All of Disney World was not made for teenagers.
Get over it.
demonllama 4 years ago
And some teenagers love it, too! Those of us who can appreciate the fine craftsmanship of Disney dark rides.
And while I miss Mr. Toad, there are some awesome effects in here which I love!!!
