  • Que no se olvide el mundo que el peor error de la humanidad es la guerra... que esos 280mil muertos entre 1992 y 1995 no sean en vano...

    PAZ en el mundo!

  • all cool, but why video calls cranberries???

  • The attitude of the Dutch soldiers in Srebrenica was a real disgrace of military history and of humanity. These soldiers were awarded in their country with royal crosses and etc.!

  • serbs=assholes

  • United Nothing!!!

  • U.N failed bosnia. Serbs are heartless criminals. they commited war crime, crime against humanity and genocide and everything u can think of. and now they want to be in the EU. no way!!

  • Im from Bosnia-Sarajevo,I was there during the war...Thnx for supporting us!!Thnx Cranberries!!!!!Never forget!!peace!

  • thanks Kriya, I was born there... and although I'm still alive I feel that a part of me died then

  • i was there as an american soldier, the things that were done there taught me what knid of human not to be. Bosnia, live long and be healed

  • I remember how world just sat and watched this terror!

  • I remember how world just sat and watched this terror!

  • for the victims....dead and alive!!!

  • @korahaplayas my brother was part of that Un peace keeping force and i saw the effects of Bosnia!!!! If you do not know do not fucking comment!! Being woke up for weeks on end with screams of guilt is fucking...............you are a prick!!!!!!

  • @vempire2000 nothing agaisnt your brother, the hands of genereals and soldiers were tied, its the leaders of the UN that failed bosnia and rwanda during the 90s...I am from Croatia.

10,000 bosniaks were killed a U.N safe zone, the organisation never works. too little too late for my brothers in bosnia

  • i was a navo soldier in this period,i think this war was totality shit,it was a war for nothing, its horrible that people kill eachother, this war was started by crazy people these are arrested now,me feel happy for it,they must shame there self, what i have seen of former yougo is that is was a beautiful country with nice people, now this country still fight after the war because little tourism and more...

  • if been there.............................

  • One of my favourites bands is singing about my favourite city in the world. Very touching. Sarajevo, ljubavi moja!

  • Innocent serbian families and serbian individuals were killed during this war too,, I'm tired of hearing that only muslims were killed, some people need to know what they're talking about before hearing generalizations of the media and other people that do not know what they're talking about.

  • here in Brazil there are a lot of refugees from this war.... well such a great music and images... thanks

  • are u sure there not serb war criminals? man call 911 i think u may get like 2million Euros for one of there heads

  • well done i must say this video shows that this town is still even more beautiful now to those that dont know the tragedy of this beautiful city my heart will always be there with you sarajevo :)

  • Bosnia is such a Beautiful country, can't wait to visit again. Very sad when you see the ruins of some old buildings due to the war though.

  • yeah it sucks, my whole village was burnt to the ground by serbs but now 90% of the homes are back we just rebuilt ours last year :), i hate when i go down there and the bosnian people Dont think they have a future but when ever i go i see soo much new business open and new buildings, better roads, nicer cars, they seem not to get that even tho we had a war were still better off the Romania, Moldova and Bulgaria and some other euro nations. Bosnia will be a great nation but it will take time

  • Indeed it is me...we should do a new one with the photos from my recent journey there.

  • That would be amazing.... "before" and "after"... and "after, after" pictures. That would be very healing, I believe... and put the song and its' meaning in a whole new context. I like that idea, very much.

  • CCZEŚĆ POLEGŁYM!!!!!

  • If it makes any difference. A soldier allowed me to make a call of my life. From this building (2.20) he took me to a room where I made a phone call home to my Mother to tell her I was OK. I wish I had known I was in History's loss. I'd have done more.....

  • Profound statement... thank you...

  • Best Song! We are all humans people. Peace

  • Indeed!!

  • Great job! I love this song and it makes me still thinking of this really bad time. It's great that you made the video for the people who were concerned and died or lost their homes or family. Thanks! 5 stars.

  • Thank YOU, for appreciating...

  • peace peoplle!!!!! thers nothing wrong with Turks in turkey and nothing wrong with croats in croatia, and serbs in bosnia ;) zivela srbija

  • Nice video....my dad was with UN peace forces in Bosnia and Croatia(we are from Argentina)and also is a Malvinas/Falkland war in 1982 and i always listened this stories.....and also makes me remember my frist girlfriend who is a bosnian refugee living here(my dad put in risk his life to save her and her family)i hope someday words will be more useful than guns....even i`m trying to join the Argentine Air Force but i still will think....words are more useful than a fucking weapon...greetings

  • people, its all bout respect here,, were all the same here so we need to respect to eachother... k,, so peace2all.

  • Yes, please do note folks, that I will remove comments and block users who cannot keep from splattering profanity, making threats, tossing insults... I love healthy debate and respect difference in opinion, but the bottom line is respect.

  • You say uou don't want to continue the conversation, but anyway, you keep on doing it.

And you also keep on saying that I sypmthize with chetniks - I don't know how did you realise that...

Where have I mentioned them in any sence?

If you have a problem with Republic of Srpska, then you have a problem with entire serbian people and not chetniks...

No wonder you call it a piece of crap...

I don't insult other nations, like you do...

    Have a good day too!

And again - peace for all!

  • By saying one side in war is worse than the others, you are the one who sympathizes with crime...

It takes two to tango, three in bosnian case...

As of Republic of Srpska - as far as I know, it's the least corrupted part of Bosnia and the most developed...

Check the official facts about bosnian economy made by IMF, EU etc...

Blaming one side in war like the one which happened in Bosnia - a civil war, is a pure non-sence...

War crimers exist on all sides, as well as good and honest people!

  • I confirm that RS is the most developped, am in Banja Luka right now and it's much richer than the Federation, it even feels richer than Sarajevo.

  • it might be more developed NOW..but what about 20 years ago, before the war...The war changed everything for Sarajevo...It used to be and still is one of the most beautiful cities in the World. Now more so because of the tragic things that happened there....

  • its not about who is worse its about who started!

  • What's wrong in what I said?

Do you know where Bosnia even is?

I'm from Serbia, I know stuff about Bosnia you can't even imagine...

Do you know that more than 300.000 refugees from Bosnia live in Serbia?

    Serbia is Bosnia's neighbour...

    We speak the same language....

1,5 million people in Bosnia, out of 4 million in total - are Serbs!

I learned about history of Bosnia both in school and in college...

From middle age 'till modern history...

I've read and saw dosens of things about Bosnia!

  • If you replied on my comment, I never said anything about dead people in Serbia, I only talked about people from Bosnia. You probabbly didn't understand the thing about Serbian republic, which is not the same thing as Serbia.

Serbian Republic or Republic of Srpska is one out of two federal units of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is Muslim-croatian federation.

I would never compete with such a thing...

My only point was peace for all, and you get peace by eaqually judging all the crimes

  • Ok.

    I got your point.

    Nobody shouldn't knee...

Apparently, you don't know the historical facts about Bosnia well. You cannot call all people Bosnians, simply 'cause they're not. In ex-Yu states, we call them all Bosnians, but we know who's a Serb, Croat or Bosniak - it's their national identity, I don't see nothing wrong in that...

You call all people Belgians in Belgium, but I'm sure you know who's Flemish and who's Walonian,am I right?

If you want peace - then,we're on the same side.

  • Again, I don't think you know enough about Bosnia.

Acording to the Dayton peace agreement (1995), thanks to war in Bosnia ended - two federal units were created - Serbian republic and Muslim-croatian federation.

    Why Muslim?

Because Muslim was the term related to Bosniaks.

Bosniak became wide used term for bosnian nationality in late 90's, while Muslilm as a nationality was used in all constitutions of Yugoslavia to relate bosniak people, who's religion is islam.

  • trust me I know more than you think!! You want me to spell it for you? I thought you said that not all bosnians are muslims!! You can't call them like that!! I'm not meaning just the bosnians, it's like that for the croatians and serbs.. When you see a catolic in serbia or bosnia you'll say that he's a croatian, and nationality and the religion are not the same things.. I really don't want to talk more, we were supposed to coment the song, I want peace and love and you too and that's good..

  • There are a lot of people in Serbia who are catolics or muslims or protestants but are still Serbs.

That wasn't my point at all...

But, like you said, let's not discuss it any more...

    Have a nice day...

  • @wuchina You can't be a Serb and not be Orthodox, you should know that...

  • this song says it all

  • I first heard this song....at her place.I miss her. :(

  • The only way we could help is by us, the people of the world wanting enough for this to stop and intervene ourselves. There is no way that our governments be it american, canadian, french, no matter what, those in power will help. If we people stand in numerous numbers there is no one who could stop us. it doesn't take much to be heard, as seen here on youtube. maybe its time a few of us put our heads together and working out a plan to achieve peace I believe we would do a better job.

    IMO.

  • Is it just me or are the kids saying "Look what you've done...." when Dolores is singing "When do the saints come marching in?" ? Anyway, EXCELLENT video...I only wish the before/after pictures had more "oomph" to show how stupid all this was.

  • Great constructive comment... thank you!! Yes, I agree re: the photographs. Very graphic images of the wartime destruction are hard to come by... but I do totally agree.

  • What you have to realize is that the "before" photos are from 1992. That is the beginning of the war. If they were from 1995 or 1996, it would unfortunately be that "oomph" you are looking for.

  • Desconocia lo que había pasado ne Bosnia y cuando leí acerca de ello, me pareció terrible...

We r sorry 4 Bosnia too..

    God Bless Bosnia!!

    gts from México =)

  • Gracias ;)

  • We can´t say we have such big problems after watching this ...

  • Let us just enjoy what is left of our lives and try not to let the past rule the future. Moja ljubavi is from Bosnia and even to this day he wont let many many horror stories come out of his mouth, they were so horrible he can't even speak of them. Please let's not argue about who started what and who said what, let us just look upon that time like it was a nightmare and for those of us who have never seen war thank God for that everyday. Great video by the way.

  • when i first head this song, i was reading Go Ask Alice. when ever i hear it, i always think i am living the life of a drug addict. this song has a real effect on me. its amazing

  • Oh! This is so beautiful, Thank you Dolores! God Bless Bosnia:)

  • we are so sorry Bosnia, so sorry!

  • Bosnie sorry,

  • very well done Lee...thank you!

  • Dianne? Is it you? You are very welcome... Blessings to you and Midhat...

  • We will not forget Bosnia!

  • I can't listen to this song too much, so once every few years I rememember it and check it out. That's how I found this video right now. I'm actually saddened by some of the comments made by fellow Bosnians on here. We need to be progressive and move towards a more positive, united life. Stop cursing the lives of non-Bosnians because then you're acting like the terrorists that did this to us. Great video. :)

  • why would you say that...? if you really like this video than you wouldn't move on......serbian, croatian?

  • What? I'm sorry, but your comment didn't make sense.

  • I don't know what people pose as Bosnians around you, but the Bosnians I know want peace, especially after what we've had to endure. It's the nationalists, like the cetniks that want a united "Greater Serbia." But, it's the normal people that have experienced the horrors of war, Bosnians/Croatians/Macedonians/Serbians alike, that want a united, peaceful future. Not another Jugoslavia, because that's in the good past, but tolerance and acceptance of one another.

  • Yugoslavia was made on tolerance and acceptance, not Bosnia and Herzegovina that exists today.

If so, bosnian politicans wouldn't do anything to destroy Serbian republic which makes 49% of Bosnia, and treat Croatians like 2nd class citizens...

Remember that Serbian republic saves the entire bosnian economy of destruction...

Also remeber that at least 17.000 Serbs were killed in Sarajevo.

If you want peace, then you should judge all the crimes,no matter which nationality made them!

    Peace!!!

  • I love my country- bosna.

    its a beautiful country.

    the song is beautiful.

and im so happy they made it.

    XD

  • Bosnian War was brutul...God Bless Bosnia...thanks for the song

  • Beatifull song, extraordinary video... The Cranberries forever!

  • I am in Mexico, but since the very day I listened to this song I could understand something I have never lived. God bless those people who were brutally killed

  • god bless ?? god did nothing to protect the innocents people getting murdered by fascist chetniks.

  • what did you expect? God coming down from heaven with a gun to kill them all? How dissapointing it is to hear you. WHerever those dead people are, God bless them.

  • there is no god.

  • 5 stars from me..Really cool vid.

Bosnian people were killed brutally in the middle of the Europe and Eu countries watched this tragedy like a horror-film !!

Anyway...I hope tragedies such a like that wont be realized once again...!

Thank you friend god bless you !

  • Amen! Thank you for feeling the pain of war and the cruelty of injustice... that's how we begin to change the world! That's why this video is here.

  • Could anyone tell me why at 5:10 is a photo of footprints??

  • Are you from Bosnia?

  • Were you addressing me or Carliz89? I am not, no... but I know many people who are from the former Yugoslavia and Bosnia particularly: war refugees who live in my homestate now... all religions and ethinicities. Muslim, Christian, Bosniak, Serbian... I care about them and what suffering they've endured.

  • Well, I am from Yugoslavia, but from Croatia...

  • I see... well I hope that this video is a positive thing overall. It's intended to be an eye-opener for those who abstract war into something other people do to other people, and who do not think about the human cost.

  • It certainly is!

  • thank you. The more people who recognize this, the more effective the video is!!

  • very, very beautiful. Thank you

  • You are so very welcome... and God does bless me, and every soul, every day! Thank you for appreciating this.

  • thanx 4 the beautiful song, may GOD bless u,cranberries and ireland to!!!
