the Picori IS the kokris some years ago. watch the intro. it sais a story about a Picori boy with a sacred sword to beat a shadow. but the pics clearly show us Link using the Master Sword to kill Ganon.

I think they changed it because Ganondorf (who has a piece of the Triforce) isn't the baddy in this game.

They already had Vaati as the main villain, Ganondorf was unneeded.

He would beat Vaati. First off in FSA Vaati was around and Ganondorf (or Ganon, I always get confused between the two) was still the main villain. Second off Vaati struggled just to get a shard of the Triforce. Ganondorf managed to get a piece halfway through his game, kept the most powerful one and ruled Hyrule for 7 friggin' years. Vaati wouldn't stand a chance.

i agree. OoT is still the best to me but this game is very reminiscent of it ^_^ great gameplay and wite challenging puzzles compared to some other zelda ( *cough* phantom hourglass *cough*) LMAO!
