  • Nice Presentation. Could you please, tell me where you sourced that piezoelectric crystal? I am working on similar project and have not been able to come across a crystal that big. The ones I got were about 2 inches diameter or less but what you demonstrated here is just about right for my project. Thanks in advance..

  • It sounds like a strange combination: crystals, water, and noise pollution. But scientists at the University of Wisconsin-Madison have discovered that the mix can efficiently produce hydrogen without the need for a dirty catalyst like oil. By submerging a new type of PIEZO crystal in water, the scientists claim to be able to harvest hydrogen using vibrations from passing traffic and crashing waves.
