Our bodies are cursed and the ground is cursed! Funerals should be stopped altogether. Only the immediate family should view the body with no pictures please!

I think this embalmer has done a really good job on this corpse as its not a over the top composure and looks as it looks as it is as sleep. my nan's embalmer did a over the top job on her and made her look ten younger than she was which made me much harder to say goodbye than it should of been also the stitch where they put formaldehyde in was really high up and could be clearly seen too which did shake me a bit at time. But I was too upset and in grief to say anything at the time.

My mother passed away on October 28, 2009 and the services for her "homegoing celebration" were on November 9, 2009. My sisters and brother got together and decided that we would record the entire celebration. I am glad that we did because I watch it all the time. My mother and I were very close and I can still clearly remember her scoldings, quqieet remarks as well as her everyday person. For me, I can always view her as she lay there before her earthly departure. I still cry.

A church member died in an accident while driving her kids home. A couple of the kids were severely injured and could not attend services. Pastor asked me to video the services. I felt horrible and I know people must have been disgusted with me. Church was packed; it was publicized- she was hit by a firetruck. But the fact that the injured children could take part in the service by watching the tape made all the difference. They were so grateful. I gave them the original tapes.
