Thats a marginata.

A pretty rare tortoise which can be found in greece. I had one but it suddenly dissapeared. :(

@killingfrenzy1993 That's not a marginata. Its an African Sulcata, Geochelone Sulcata. Trust me. I keep them.

I also had had some turtles at home and was an small expert. I've got a marginata at home and it looked exactly like this.

If you search "testudo marginata" at google pictures you should find some pictures of turtles which look exactly like the one here

@killingfrenzy1993 Incorrect. Marginata do not have a serrated rear, to their carapace when this young, as is evident here. Marginata also have a dark-to-light GRADIENT on each scute while they are young. Sulcata's have a clear light yellow/faun area, clearly lined with black or brown between each scute, as evident here.

@killingfrenzy1993 Also, pause around 0:21. It has spurrs, something that I wasn't aware that Marginata have. There's my evidence. Now, I believe we're back out of the vicious circle. Trust me. It's a Sulcata. I own them.

@tw1stedgrudge Oh, i didn't see them, you're right it's a sulcata but you have to concede that they look very similar. ^^

@killingfrenzy1993 In some ways, yes. Baby Marginata's have a light face in many cases when they're young, and some Sulcata's have very slightly darker skin, though most are creamy. The best way to tell them apart is through the shells, really.
