This is a fucking awesome thread of comments. I was born in '81 in NY... when I was 14 ('95) I found AiC. I fell in love. I didn't know what to call it and didn't care. But I was too young for shows, too young to be involved with any other fans really. I wished I was older, wished I was on the other coast, but it was too damn bad lol... So I really don't know much about the scene or the way it sprung up or when 'grunge' was coined. AiC FEELS differently than any other band. That's all I know.
