Once Daphnes wished on the Triforce for the children to be the hope for the future, any chance Ganondorf had was gone, I'm sure Ganondorf knew that but he was too angry to really care by that point. The Triforce in most cases doesn't just "Poof!" and what the wisher desires is done, if it can be done in a logical progression of things the Triforce acts in that manner. (If it can't like Zelda 2, or ALttP than it does have to use other ways)

if you look at the mastersword at 3:01 you'll see that its just the normal master sword hold but the actual blade comes out of the bottom of the hilt lol... Wish i hadn't noticed that ó.ò Awesome game though

Oh gosh, Zelda kept hitting me the whole time through this! I never did a thing to her, not even hit her with a boomerang (though I did do this battle multiple times, and I have hit her..a few times x3.) Oh well, I love this game. The only part I found tedious was surprisingly getting Nayru's pearl (I slacked off so bad in the Triforce Hunt xD)

Poor Ganondorf, why can't they let him be king. He's like the Trix rabbit, would it really hurt to give him what he wants? He didn't even kill Zelda when he could have easily. I didn't think he was "dumb" in OoT, I thought he was arrogant in his plan, but you got to admit it did work. The point of his plan to let Link run loose was to A: Open the gateway to the sacred realm and B:Have Princess Zelda and the triforce of wisdom come out in the open.

The only issue was that he was too arrogant in thinking he could swat Link easily. I agree his motivations were not fleshed out, he was just the "evil man"...but making him a tragic character, IDK if that's the way to go...

Actually the triforce splitting was not commonly known, but was in fact a legend past down by the sheikah, no way for ganon to know what would happen.

What ever happened to somebody just being evil because they liked it? Ganon's motivation is domination and conquoring the innocent. In OoT he almost feeds an entire race to a dragon after almost starving them to death 7 years earlier, freezes an entire city...I mean his motivation was being in control through fear.

It sort of invites trouble for him though, like in Twilight Princess he stays hidden low until really near the end of the story, and manipulates people a lot more instead of scaring them to death and forcing the Hero to come forward.

which is why TP is an inferior game story-wise. It still has a better ending then WW, but WW has the elements of a GREAT game until about 3/4's in. Once you had to find the triforce of courage through finding chests and go to 2 temples to return power to the MS,it got stupid and don't even mention the ending (Drown Hyrule or save it? Hmm let's drown it!)

Yes the treasure charts and awakening the new sages really was annoying... And in every new game, Ganon seems to have more and more mystical power... LoZ, evil sorceror, did not much. LttP, turned the Sacred Realm to the Dark World. OoT, took over all of Hyrule. WW, nearly drove back the Great Sea. TP, blew up Hyrule Castle and defeated the Fused shadows easily, survived a sword through the heart, and had so much power he was mistaken for a GOD by Zant..
