  • Did you ever feed her, or let her sleep?

  • My Crested that was "momma" to our 4 week old rescued kitten heard the mews...and was ready to help her nxt kitten. I had to show her the screen so she'd know there was no kitten here...then she laid back down.

  • you are amazing people! and the Chinese Crested Crush site is down for renovations but keep trying to get on! It is awesome with lots of nice people there

  • Such a nice thing you did to rescue that kitten. We also have cats and dogs here, all rescues ( including 2 Chinese cresteds, DO you go to the Chinese Crested Crush site?) How is the kitten doing today?

  • @DebbsHereNow Hi Deb, I haven't heard to CCC site. Sounds like fun. I'm going there next! hahaha

The kitty, 9 mths. now, had an operation as she was born without a hip socket. She has to learn to re-walk all over again. We have her on special, high protein food, to have her poop more solid,(as she falls in her litter box), have tons of carpet runners throughout the house so her feet can grab the floor better and my husband is making a cart to have her exercise better. We're trying! ;-)

  • such a sweet video, i got teary eyed...the kitten is so precious...i just brought home a cat myself..and she is just the sweetest thing...i don't know how somebody could just drop her off and leave her...now she sleeps with my daughter at night...i am sure she is the most comfortable she has been in years..she doesn't even want to leave the bed...hahahahha..thanks for sharing this video and best of luck to you!!!

  • @Bozzieawesome Awe! Congrats on YOUR kitty!!! I just took ours to the vet because of the way she was walking, (more like hopping!) Turns out she has to have surgery on both of her back legs...one at a time. Her knees don't bend correctly. If you look up kabbit on YT,, you'll see what I mean. Could be worse though. Usually, the vets charge $3,500 to $4,000 for the procedure I found a vet that will charge us $500 - $550.00. Hopefully, our Sammy will be able to run around soon!

  • @GettingNailed

wowoow that is great you found somebody with that price...still alot of money but hey you saved alot more...best of luck to you and your sammy, i hope all goes well with the surgery....i looooove that name sammy....sooooooo cute!!!hehe

  • @Bozzieawesome Actually, her name is Samatha, like from the sitcom, Bewitched. But we like calling her Sammy. Best to you, your family...cat included! ;-D

  • @GettingNailed You are amazing to spend your money to save the kittens life.. I bet the mother cat abandoned it because its non-functional knees? Is the kitty allright allready nowdays?

  • @TheQneb Actually, I gave her one surgery and he walking became worse, even though we spent hours upon hours trying to help her. She lives with my friend now, and she gave her an additional surgery too, but it didn't help either. Anyway, Sammy lives with many cats now and enjoys all her new friends.

  • OMG She ssooooooooooo cute!! Martini is so curious,, adorable!!

that's great that they get along so well , my dog doesn't like cats at all :P she start's to shiver and the cat's run away :P

    XoXo

  • I jus stumbled across this video & i think its awesome that you put the word out to spay/neuter animals. All of our animals (even most of our chickens & one of our goats) were rescued. about 2 yrs back we found a pregnant mama cat that was so emaciated & turns out that one of her 3 babies was born with no eyes.. we kept the litter of 3 & mama cat & all live happy healthy lives. Saving lives is always rewarding ! Hope your family is enjoying the new edition ! <3

  • @mrszlopez Awwwwe, thank for your kind words! So how is the kitty with no eyes surviving at home with you? Happy? :-D

Our little Sammy will always be smaller as she was the runt. She and Marteenie are getting along very well!

    ;-DD

  • @GettingNailed

she does really great actually. She acts just like a normal kitten would ! & you should definately do an update video !

  • My crested has just "adopted" a teeny kitten I picked up in the middle of a highway! :)

  • @kludgette That would be so cute...to have YOU make a video of your two and then I'll add it to MY video. ;-DD Think about it! lol!!!

  • awww!=]

I have a cat too, I rescued him when he was a kitten!

I was only 12 and was walking home from school with my friend and we found this litter of three kittens. my cat was the smallest and weakest one, so I took him while my friend took the other two which were then adopted by other people. I nursed everyday with a little milk bottle filled with milk for kittens!

he was sooo cute! just like a baby and now he's two years old and fat!but he's still adorable!=]

  • @angelicdil Oh, that's what we did too! Soo adorable!!! ;-D

  • Such a cute little baby! Did you keep her or was she adopted out?

  • @hunhun23 Hi Hun! Oh, yes, we did keep her. She is still really tiny as she was the runt of the litter, so we are told. You could see her again at the beginning of another one of my nail art videos regarding nail art contests. She IS really cute, I agree with you. Thank you.

  • @GettingNailed That is so nice of you to do that! If you look at some of my videos I have 4 cats and they are all rescues. Poki was found in a parking lot at the age of 3 months and she is now 6 years. Pumpkin was given to us by a neighbor. Carissa I got when she was 1 year old and she is now 10. Echo (now deceased) was given to me by a former manager. I had her for 10 years. Naja I adopted this past FEB after Echo passed.

  • @hunhun23 I did go through your videos. You are such a God send to the animal world. I can tell you are devoted to your kitties and to animals in general. Such a good thing. Sorry to learn of your Naja dying but I am sure she had a wonderful life while on this earth 'cause she was with you. X O

  • @GettingNailed It wasn't Naja that passed it was ECHO. She is the gray and white kitty that I had. I have Naja now and she is a bundle of energy and a little spitfire!

  • @hunhun23 Oops, sorry about my mistake. I'm sure you know what I meant. :-) My little kitty is a spitfire too. Quite the little entertainer. She and my Chinese Crested get along very, very well. It's sooo funny that they were both the runts of their litters and are quite small for their breeds. Maybe our little kitten, Samantha, will grow to be bigger than Marteenie one day. lol

  • omg...ure such a beautiful person for doing this.....really appreciate people like you

  • @lludmilla Thanks for the props. ;-)

  • thery are so sweet!!!..and the kitty its so fluffy and innocent (^_^)

  • @pinkangell3 You're right, they are BOTH so young and innocent looking. I had to bottle feed her for a couple weeks. I was told she's the runt so I'll be glad if she stays on the smaller side. She'd be so cute and not beat up my dog! LOL Good luck with the contests you're entering. ;-) X O

  • Martini and the kitty are so sweet and cute :). and your nails sooo beautiful :). Your husband with the kitty reminded me of my dad, he will come from from work and sits down for a while and whenever he is very quiet we know he is hiding something, usually he has a chihuahua inside his shirt or jacket :P Mom complaints cause he gives love to the dogs first intead of her :P

  • @cuteglitternails Awe, such a cute story to share! Yes, my husband hides his love of the animals but usually it is because he doesn't want to share the responsibility of care taking the animal. LOL Sounds like men and women are alike all over.

  • Love her :° look at her...

  • @TheBabyride Samantha is getting stronger everyday and nursing from a bottle nicely. :-DD She'll be playing with her sister, Marteenie, once she gets checked once more for parasites. Yuck! I already had her dewormed once.

  • How cute I HOPE YOU KEEP HER!

  • so small:)

  • @Victoria4402 Tiny :-)

  • awww so so cute!!..you all have such warm hearts to take her in..looks like a very loving family to part of..:)..our dog we rescued ...well kind of...her mother was 9yrs old dying of cancer when she gave birth to 4 puppies..2 died though.the family who owed them were going to send the puppies to a dog shelter..but if they did they would be put down because of the breed..shes half pitt bull...so we took the female puppy and i heard someone else took the other puppy

  • @madamluck In the scheme of thing, in that situation with the mom having cancer, sounds like 50% is pretty damn good. Good for you too!!! :-D

  • OMG i had tears when the kitten was in ur hubbys pocket, shes so cute. oooh bless her, i hope u get to keep her, because shes so young, she will be so loyal to u if u did, thats what happened with our dog, ill do a vid of her cos shes amazing !

im so glad u shared this, its such a touching story.

now at least i know what ur voice sounds like lol

    thumbs up hunni xxx

  • @configure1973 (smiling)

  • OMG!.. she is so small and sweet how could someone abandon a lovely creature like that.. i hope she'll have a loving familiy...

i'm in love with your dog too;-)

  • @Tami81 Actually, her mama is a wild cat and she was no where to be found. Probably with her other kittens. She seems quite happy with us humans. LOL

  • sooo cute:) It happend to me ones when I was home and now she is big and has another friend:)

  • @toxicomana81 I had her in my hoodie front pocket all last night. :-) Sounds like twice the fun.

  • OMG!!! how adorable!! and ur dog is a real hero! thumbs up for heroism!!

  • @bluepimpnchick Yea, Marteenie is warming up to the little one. Her name is Samantha (Sammy or Sam) for Elizabeth Montgomery in Bewitched. I always wanted to be her when I was little. :-D

  • adorable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @chazziny My daughter and her husband has first dibs if we give her up. :-)

  • Awwwwwww too cute!

  • @Dollface22772 Isn't she! She's tugging at our heart strings.
