About HP attacks, most come from standard Level Up, but some (like stated in this video) come from Mastering a certain Brave Attack that becomes a link to a HP Attack.

Since you just started, getting AP will be slow for now. Just stick it out and focus on beating Story Mode with multiple people. If you don't do well in a story, don't worry, you can do them as many times as you want. In the PP Shop, you can buy additions to your Special Day, such as more Gil or, even, AP. My suggestion, manually change your PSP date to your special day everyday. If Monday is your special day, change your PSP date to the following Monday when your day is over.

@godofwars2346 lol I messed with it out of curiosity and it worked (surprisingly). It's amazing how a Nintendo DS knows when the clock/calendar is changed, but a more sophisticated machine, like the PSP, can't. @_@

so...in other words you need to use certain attack to actually damage some one and not just swing like crazy cause swinging like crazy only gives you brave points not dealing real damage?

Circle Attacks are Brave Attacks to help you build up Brave, If you're confident in your Brave Attack, use it. The closer you are to Breaking your opponent, the more Brave Attacks you should use.

HP Attacks deals HP damage equal to your Bravery.

You win AP after a match, and each ability needs a certain amount to be mastered.

As for HP Attacks:

1) They branch from a Bravery Attack after it is mastered.

2) You learn an HP Attack upon level up.

how do you do that multi sword attack? I am a new player and i've done it before. but when i use that attack, i anyhow press. so what is the button?

It was, i'm sure it's called, Radiant Sword. It's an HP Attack and you need to assign it on the abilities menu under the "Square attack" options.

Your vids are helpful :3 Buuuut no matter how hard I try I can't get Tidus' brave-to-hp attack going. I've got enough AP. Most of Tidus' brave attacks cause chase, and the only two brave-to-hp attacks I have so far stem off chases, like the one you demonstrated here for WoL. Is the timing different for every character, and was it hard for you to get the hang of too or am I just retarded? -___-;;

lol you're not retarded, it just depends when you press the Square button to activate the attack.

When it's Tidus' attack where he dodges forward and reels his opponent forward, the next input should be square.

To get the command chart of the attack, go to the abilities menu and highlight the attack you want to know about, and press square. It will tell you what will happen each time you press Circle or when to press Square. Example: WoL's first Brv-HP attack i showed: O => O => O =>Square

how to increase AP......i get only 1AP per battle ......but now its 4......

When you get enough PP, go to the PP Shop and purchase the selection with AP in it. With each level you buy, on the days on your calender that gives you an AP bonus, the effect will go up. Also, when you enter a quick battle, "AP Chance" will show on the bottom of the screen with the requirements to get extra AP for the match. Some requirements are "Square attack first" "Attack more than *insert number here* HP in one attack." or "Attack less than *insert number here* HP in one attack"

-Before battle: You get to see everything about your opponent. Stats, Accessories worn, and Battlerise chances. Just a heads up for you before you fight them.

-After: When a Chocobo has a music sign, it means your Luck (Lucky) went up and you have a EXP Multiplier chance next fight. And when it has a Gysahl Green (looks like a carrot) pops up, that means you have a EXP Multiplier chance next fight.

You can check the progress of your Chocobo on the Customizations screen for Gysahl Green chances.
