  • r-r-r-r-rASTA MAN!one hell of an underrated band. david hinds has one of the coolest voices!

  • ONE OF THE BEST BANDS ON THE PLANET

  • They sound and looked so young and dedicated- Much like Stephen Marley now.

  • Luv abd respect!!! Irie!!!

  • The pulse of roots.

  • <3

  • Just love their harmonies and collectiveness in this recording. Love this song.

  • @ICUMMUD So far, I've fallen hard for "Night Nurse." Too bad it was after the death of Mr. Isaacs. But his tunes live, and he thru them. Also Morgan Heritage get me goin' knowing Yuh No Haffi Dread(to be Rasta)!! Bless Up!!

  • A band that deserved much greater commercial success than they actually achieved - they have such immense talent

  • @TEXBATES They would have had alot more commercial success if they weren't racists. But I agree, great band and ahead of their time back then.

  • don't care where we come from,we all gonna sing d same song, people lets listen d message,ISRAEL VIBRATIONS IS AN AWESOME BAND ALSO.

  • Oh Yea

  • Reggae sucks with the exception of Bob Marley and Steel Pulse. If you think I'm wrong please steer me in the right direction. Every reggae band people recommend to me is full of crappy synth sounds.

  • @rtoolio : fully in agreement: jus dont-a-forget ahhhh: Wailing Souls,Black Uhuru, and da BURNING SPEAR.LKJ and even Gil Scott Heron ( yea i know he s not a a reggae, but i saw all of them in WASH DC back in the day,so its all LOVE.and MUTABARUKA.

  • @marcusguernsey god bless

  • @rtoolio take a look at my page and the vids ive favorited if you want to expand your reggae selections! you couldnt be more wrong my friend! ive been listening to reggae for 20+ years and am still coming across good reggae music that i have never heard before!

  • Try Misty in Roots, Wise and Foolish.

  • if you like this tune, try "Find it quick" from them too

  • The deepest Reggea out there and there from the uk cause you can only make Music this good when things are bad.

They were never that bad in the Caribe... And that's a fact..

  • Great fukn post!!

    Thanks Man.

  • there`s is no reggae band like this ................. and any band in this time can make this kind of reggae, unfortunately forever Steel Pulse..........

  • dont forget black uhuru as well, uk reggae from the 70's early 80's was just sick.

some of the best ever tunes done

  • @hairtrigger69 Black Uhuru weren't from the UK. Don Carlos, Garth Dennis and Duckie Simpson are pure jamaican.

Love steel pulse though, so I'm not saying that being an english reggae band is an insult of some sort ...

  • Steel Pulse is one of the greatestbands out there..right next to ASWAD & Culture.

    i got the PULSE fever!

    :):):):):)

  • Bless up! I'm looking to expand beyond Bob Marley. I can't expect to fully grasp reggae on only one artist. WJ

  • @orcanjus Yes!..Bob Marley is the greatest. But there are also many great reggae artists...here's a few for you to chill on...Desmond Dekker, Peter Tosh, Gregory Isaacs, Jacob Miller, Steel Pulse, The Heptones, Toots and the Maytals, Jimmy Cliff, Bunny Wailer, Lee 'Scratch' Perry, Max Romeo, Inner Circle, and so much more. But that should get you started nice :)

  • @orcanjus Katchafire, House of Shem,

  • @orcanjus Steel Pulse is what Bob Marley and the Wailers would have sound if Bob was around in the 90s.

  • @orcanjus Black uhuru man!

  • @orcanjus Check out Black Uhuru, Burnin' Spear, Bunny Wailer, Wailing Souls, Mighty Diamonds, Toots & the Maytals, Desmond Dekker for starters.

to take them to his heart, and to guide his conduct in accordance with their teachings.
