The reason I like Sasuke is because he was always that cool guy with a one-track mind on being an avenger. He had the sharingan, cool clothes, and his personality was great. Sasuke was also badass because he was designed to be Naruto's rival. Most people always see the rival of the main character as cool.

No that shit was uncool. You're just focusing on all the negative things. What about the positive aspects? He beat Deidara on his own and Deidara was and S class ninja. It wasn't the best thing since sliced bride but, it shows the kid has skills. Itachi often relied on his sharingan as well. Why not use your own powers given to you from birth? An Uchiha not using the sharingan is like a cop without a gun. A cop has to have some edge to enforce his authority and some ninjas have kekkai genkai. Kakashi has the sharingan and his skill with it is not superior to Sasuke. The reason why the Uchiha clan members have the kekkai genkai is because they have sturdy bodies and strong chakra. Kakashi said this himself. Plus madara said that the clan members had strong chakras. Sasuke trained just as hard as the others during the timeskip so please do not say he does not train hard when he had to take lessons from a pedophile looking guy like Orochimaru.

Well Kakashi use way more Chakra than an Uchiha who use the sharingan. He said it by himself.For Orochimaru, It was only normal that HE would train Sasuke. Masashi Kishimoto really like the concept of generation and as you can see, Jiraya = naruto tsunade = sakura sasuke = orochimaru.

When he fought Deidara, his goal was not to kill but to recruit a new member. The reason he probably acted like that was because he was in front of the enemy. Raikage himself said ninja only respect power. He doesn't want to give one of his followers praise and look soft. Plus he really care for his team despite his attitude. When they fought killerbee he thought about the sacrifices made by team taka. Most guys who have pride in the anime act like that. Hell even Rukia refused to thank Ichigo when he saved her because that would be out of character.
