One of my favorite songs ever and brings back memories of first girlfriends & breakups years ago. Very nice video in a fairly small setting and it's cool how Todd constantly gives group hand hugs to everyone.Something/Anything has always been one of my favorite albums and i was always amazed he played about every instrument and did all the vocals. This song was originally written in the late 60's when Todd was with a band called Nazz 1967'-69', however, he later produced a slightly different version in 1972 which is what you are listening to here. I'm guessing this particular performance was around 1978.

One dude (don't remember his name anymore) was very heavily 'into Todd' & played him note-for-note! My friend JJ played Jimi note-for-note & LOVES Zappa! We jammed for years - SICK Good! Lost track of all those guys over the years...

Its one of those songs that when you hear it, you can't get it out of your head. I've always loved playing drums to this song, it's actually got an interesting beat. As for the way it is performed in this particular piece, although it is a confused heartning ballad, it also can be uplifting, and to see Todd have a connection with the audience is great.
