However, do you really think it was the best time/place to play it at your companies new years party? Im pretty sure steve vai has a fairly limited fan base ie you and your mate - not the other 100 people cringingly watching you to be polite and itching to getting back to socialise and get drunk on NYE?
Slow down on the sweeping in the major part the second time around. Show some feeling, you can tell your not confident in your playing and your scales. Put some emotion into it, try to be more acurate with your left hand techinque, and I'd work on your picking technique it didn't look to great from what I saw. Nice Ibanez, Is that your dad playing with you. Good attempt thought It takes courage to get up there and do your thing. 2.8/5 Never stop playing man!

i would never play in sitting position, it just looks better to stand there, so you can move around and show more emotion
