God chose Muhammad as the final prophet and messenger, to whom He revealed the Holy Qur'an which is the final and unaltered word of God thus making the Islam that we have today the religion of God. So, in Islamic belief, God put human beings on this Earth to make well-informed choices. God put us here to worship Him through His religion, Islam, which has been given to us through the "life manuals" of the Qur'an and the way of life of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
