Argh... the first sister is ALWAYS the hardest. I'm doing a playthrough on the hard mode, and she was a bitch! I had like 4 gas canisters lined up right where she'd be, and it took out only 1/3 of her life! boy, oh boy, she's a fiend.

Big Sisters are unbalanced. They can't be stopped while charging at you (but a fucking Alpha Series can be stopped mid-charge), they can attach you with overpowered moves from any distance, and they can cover the distance of a room in the blink of an eye. 'Nuff said.

They're supposed to be powerful. Alpha Series' are the oldest version of the Big Daddies. Big Sisters are the latest(besides the Lancer).

Big Sisters have ADAM Slugs in them that give them vastly greater control and power over their own abilites(IE: Incinerate 1 turns into Incinerate 2/3 when have it.) while Aplha Series only emit random bursts at random times.

As for the distance thing, they're all spliced with Sports Boost 2 and weigh much less then a Big D.

They're not new models of Big Daddies. However, the rest of you comment makes a lot of sense, even though I knew those things, you are still quite correct.The Lancer is supposed to be awesome and powerful. What does it look like?

Oops, I just meant they were the newest "Big" things stomping around. Anyways, the Lancer is cool looking, kinda like a knight and it has the Ion Lance which is pretty powerful, although they're only truely formidable on Hard.

I found that using the drill and electrobolt (or winterblast) is the least damaging way to take down a Big Sister, E.G. I lose less health.. especially when I have Electrobolt 3 and can stream it and just drill her constantly because she can't even move, let alone attack

I love the drill. An advice: upgrade it fully and use Drill Specialist tonic(Equipping this makes you unable to use other weapons than the drill, Hacker gun and camera but makes your plasmids use much less EVE, then upgrade your Winter blast to 2 or 3(u choose). When you have done all this.... well not even a big sister can damage you now ehe. I use this cus I love being an armor-wearing badass with a drill :P

That can't have been on hard difficulty, but anyway - good things I learned from your vid is that in this fight in particular, I should first set the oil on fire if she's near, then combo elec and heavy rivet shots, then finish off with elec, drill and finally drill melee till dead. There - tactic set. :)

The reason I mention the difficulty is because the game isn't even fun in the way it challenges you if you play anything else than Hard. Normal is a real cakewalk once you know how to play.
