@TboltHurricane Lots of them, such as the 15/20 and the 10/16 in Princeton WI have replaced motors. You can tell cause the old high-slip motors were lower pitched.
Since the rotator runs on the same motor as the chopper, could the rotator problems be contributing to the sluggish startup? Also, I heard noisy bearings at the beginning.
I think the chain broke. @ 2 comments below, I'd like to see the prior lake video, because that's were I goto school. Did you know that prior lake has a banshee?
@AKSoapy29 I am uploading the FS2001 Roundback video as we speak. I do know of a Banshee it is near the water treatment plant, Yellow, 9/12 port. Nick
@dualactionsurgilator I've seen it before, and I haven't seen any videos of it. Do you think you could get a recording of it sometime and post it to YouTube?
Nice job as always. This siren needs motor bearings and a rotator chain for sure. I caught a FS2001 roundback today in Prior lake. It had been avoiding me by breaking or going off early but today I got it.
sirens get old and definitely dont work when they were used back in the 40s

@The73slapshot - Except for the Decots from the 20s that still work fine

seems if the large rotator pulley is slipping and/or the small rotator pulley is not tight enough
