I notice they change a lot of dubs even just a little to make sure there is NO material that can be questioned... curse words or socially debatable topics. It really shouldn't be changed from its true form though.

I watched this clip in japanese with english sub and there was a great line where Fai said Kurgane looked handsome with the water dripping on him, its a shame that line got lost in the english dub! it would have been funny.

Though I dun think it's Vic Mignogna fault some of the lines got lost. he's just the voice actor not the writer for the english dub. I don't think it's fair to blame him :(

-.- I love this anime/ manga very much....but no matter how hard I try to sit here and listen to the english one it's horrible. -.- he doesn't ... I like daisuke as Fai...vic sounds bad as this character. (I still love vic very much) but the english version is not the best...they sound like friends...it's not cute when the both have manly voices.

Personally, I can't listen to Fai in the dub without my brain jumping to such lines as:

"I TOLD YOU, A FIST IN HIS FACE!"

or

"It's been a long time since I've killed anyone. I kinda miss it. Wanna watch?"

Which really just doesn't suit Fai at all, LOL. Vic does a good job, but since I know his voice so well, I can never really focus on the anime itself. Which is why I almost always watch subs. A good reason for Kurofai fans to watch subs rather than dubs: Fai's a lot flirtier in the Japanese.

I know what you mean... I really love Vic's voice, but it's like every time they have a male character who doesn't have a deep voice (like Kuro-puu's), and he's too old to have a female VA, they immediately jump to Vic. I mean, I love him and I'm glad he gets so much work, but... I'm sure there are guys who can do less than terrifying guy voices out there, too.
