Thank you so much for sharing. We should use you as an example that we can all age gracefully if we want to. I also love the fact that you are computer savvy. I use a Mac and I wouldn't trade it for anything. Maybe lowering the volume when you are recording will help with the white noise?
Bgrant, Peters' camera is integrated in the top of the monitor. Personaly I think its mike picks up the basic noises/ own frequency of that monitor and gives that nasty background noise. Anyone any experience with this?

background music wiil probably not solve this, its just hiding noise with other noise. I consider it a serious design flaw of the monitor/camera combination, although the camera quality is actually very good.
I would return the monitor and change it for one without camera and get a good webcam instead.

Going out with friends, old and new, and having a great time is one of Life's simple pleasures. It sounds like you truly enjoyed yourself. I could see your enthusiasm in your video.
It's always good to visit with a friend, that's why I enjoy your video diaries so much. I know more about you than some of my distant cousins (which is quite ok with me). You're a thoroughly decent and very snazzy fellow. :-)
