Well, Purdue can be explained by the slippery field and that JoePa didn't want to embarrass his good friend Joe Tiller in his last year, but you noticed he turned up the heat against Brett Bielema (probably as revenge for the offside kickoff fiasco in 2006), but after a shaky first 20 minutes against Michigan, they looked pretty good (they only crossed the 50 twice afterwards). If Penn State beats Ohio State handily, will they still be viewed as a fraud?

They make it exciting but there is a reason the OSU band wasn't at the 2007 game and won't be at any further Penn State home games. Last time they went to the Penn State game several band members had to go to the hospital after being pelted with beer bottles. It's all fun and games, but Penn State fans tend to be violent and ruin the atmosphere for opponents. If the university can't control the mob, maybe they should hire more freaking ushers so people don't get seriously injured

Not all fans are like that. But in a sea of 110,000 people, there's going to be at least 1,000 bad apples, which is a hell of a lot of people. Don't forget, Ohio State fans riot, Wisconsin fans throw snowballs with a penny inside at people, and just about every school has a few undesireables. This isn't recent, though. The first problems from Penn State fans I can remember is in 1995 where they pelted Michigan's Mercury Hayes with snowballs.

Just because a few people were pissed off after Ohio State beat Penn State and took it out on Ohio State fans doesn't mean we're all like that. I've seen videos of Ohio State fans and Penn State fans hanging out like a group of friends. The fraternity was suspended anyway. I'm actually pulling for OSU to win the NC for the Big Ten.

BTW, I take it Ohio State still hasn't forgiven Penn State for that 1994 game where Penn State thumped Ohio State against the wall 63-14.
