This will probably start a big debate, but, I have the baby dean DFH, and it sounds just as good at less than half the cost.($200). (I bought it off some kid on craigslist who needed bail money-HA HA). It has no trem but I don't use trem that much anyway. And I like where the switch is placed much better.

Nice guitar man. I'm planing go get me one too. I just have some questions about the bridge. What would happen if I would breake 1 of the strings? Would all of the strings go out of tune? Is it possible to block the bridge so it can't be pulled up ?

You can block the bridge with wood or a tremolo-no. Wood is free so I'd do that. The guitar will go all out of whack if you break a string. I have the Cross in E as well to change up if that happends. I keep them fresh and setup the guitar real well so I never have troubles.

This guitar is limited to 150 and has the same seriel number as Dime's. The only other USA DFH is the rusty one the are releasing.

actually, the rusty one is the one limited to 150 worldwide, the one ur using is the replica that they made, the only difference is the floyd rose, cuz this one is licenced, and the limited one is a original floyd rose

ACTUALLY, the firat DFH's Dean made were a limited run USA DFH of only 150. Sherwood here has #13 of 150. They started making the import (made in Korea) DFH's a year or two later. Yes, they are making a "Rusted" version now, but this one here in this video is the high end USA replica of Dime's DFH.

Do your research before you try to tell a guy with all that gear that he doesn't know his own equipment.

GuitarThrash is right. I use the Neck pickup for cleans and lead occasionally. I have a footswitch to change my amp channels. I use the bridge pickup for almost all my dirty channel playing.

Its really depends on Which Washy your getting. If your buying a used USA DFH than you'd need a USA Washburn to be comparable. The ST Pro Stealths are very high quality. For the money you save buying the ST Pro its well worth it. Its based on the ST3 specs and the one I have is very close to USA quality.

Metal and guitar driven rock is still the best music in my opinion. You rarely hear a solo in today music. Don't mind the other people in school not liking your music. When your 18 and you can pull off sweet solo's at a party better than everyone else you will meet lots of people who enjoy your music preference. I can vouch for that...I have a 1982 dean Z with all custom parts on it...

being in 1982 it was before they moved to korea or wherever they are so it's American made and it has much more playability, sustain, and feels so good compared to my Gibson SG, Epi Les Paul, and Fender Strat...that dean is amazing
