you should have went with traxxas alloy links and the traxxas alloy steering links and lock up your rear diff the cvd's are not needed with that 12t you have

you just put mostly what i have in my stampede vxl i have all aluminum skid plates as well. rpm caster blocks, a arms linkages had rpm bumper broke it when i crashed at 55mph rpm body posts. my truck will do about 67mph right now and i usually brake something every other time i take it out. i run lipo 5000-5500 3s battery's thunder power rc and smc. ill get some videos on here soon.

Titans blow because of slipper clutch. If your clutch is not adjusted right it puts to much pressure on the motor.

@whiteknuckles717 get a sidewinder kit its way better than the vxl set up and way fast and cheaper you can get a 7700kv motor and esc for 100 or a mamba max pro set up there made by the same company

@cannonkevin94 I had a sidewinder system before and they suck! It didn't even last me a month and the max speed it can make a truck or car go is 50 mph, the vxl system is way better and way more reliable and it makes my stampede go over 65 mph, I think your getting that confused, if I was gonna buy something from CC it would be the mamba max pro sc system for my slash 4x4, now those are B-A!

@whiteknuckles717 thats bs i have a stampede with a sidewinder set up that does 90 mph and a slash that hit 117 with a sidewinder i run sidewinder and mamba max set ups in all of my cars and mamba max and sidewinder set ups are made by the same place i think i would know i have a hobby shop i will put any of my cars trucks or boats with sidewinder set ups against any vxl set up

@cannonkevin94 Ok, I don't believe any of that because every car with a sidewinder system I've raced, i've beat the crap out of with a vxl system and they were running a 3s and said the fastest they can go on 3s is 45+ mph geared correctly and sidewinder systems were created by castle just to save money and weren't near as good as the mamba max and that wasn't even as good as the vxl system and the vxl system actually has reliability and speed doing over 70 mph, sidewinder wouldn't come close!

if you need bether parts yoyu can use the bars form slash 2wd the bars ho is holding together caster blocks front and rear they are much better Just some tip you can use much parts from slash instead

lungsford has very good tie rods. go to ebay and type in aluminum wheel hexs and you will find them they have them for the slash and they run 13.00 for all four of them. you should also stay away from the CVDs and just stick with the slash drives shafts instead. they are cheaper, and theyhold up real well with a brushless system.

Thanks for the suggestions!!! Just as a little update I did already put the traxxas alumunum tie rods on the stampede. Also i went with brand new stock driveshafts with steel differential yokes and its a good combo!!!!!!!!!!

first of all get the mini revo its awesome and how does the waterproof reciever box mount to the truck?

there is a special esc mounting plate that bolts straight on to the stampede chassis, it is made for the reciever to also bolt down.

@productionskak You can get the dynamite fuze systems for $115. I would probably go with the velineon for $115. Traxxas is offering a trade-up program and you can send in your titan motor and XL-5 speed control with $115 paid in credit and they will send you a brand new velineon system.

@airsoftpaintkiller1 I was looking at the highroller when I was in the market too. The only advantage it has over the stampede is it had aluminum shocks. The stampede is a better value and has more performance. The stampede is waterproof; highroller is not, stampede goes 30 mph; higheroller goes 20, stampede includes battery and charger; highroller does not, if you ever brake a part on the stampede you can replace it with rpm; with the highroller you can not. @airsoftpaintkiller1 With a rock crawler you can not compare it to a monster truck. The rock cralwer are meant for torque; this means that it might be able to move 10 pounds and go up a 45 degree angle but It will only go about 10 mph. So if you like to go slow and live around an area with alot of rocks, go with the crawler. If you like to go fast and have something strong go with the monster truck. Anymore questions?

Here is some great ideas on what else you should put in the stampede CVD all the way around,High Torque waterproof servo,VXL system waterproof,2.4 GH transmitter and also receiver from traxxas, Venom Lipo 3000 MAH batteries or Max Amp batteries that are wateproof but I dont know if they will fit on a stampede anyways those are some great ideas on what else you should put on your ride

You can always just buy the traxxas (tin) shock shafts and aluminum shock caps. I would go with the mini e-revo not the Lst2. The mini is great just needs some basic upgrades. The Lst2 can't touch the mini e. Just my 2 cents.

@stampedevxl You handleing and absorbsen for your shocks comes from the weight shock oil thats dampening springs and whatever piston you deside to choose. there are many combos, but what works best for you depends on the driving you choose, bashing, short track, I can only say this because i run a track and its a short coarse but has some good jumps.
