would anyone know how to do a cross over idea on this game, meaning is it possable to program or hack street fighter characters onto the final fight game for snes?
LOL, they censored the whiskey and beer power-ups, as well as took beating girls out from the game but they didn't notice the carved letters that clearly say ''DICK'' at doors in the beginning of the level
LMAO i love Haggar's stance as he walks around with his arms held out as if saying to everyone to just bring it. this guy's the fucking mayor of Metrocity, who walks the streets taking matters into his own hands...literally. he beats the shit out of all the thugs and punks ruining his city!
this game is almost exactly like street fighter, almost same music and same fighting skill. He looks like the guy from street fighter, u know the one that has like red close on and he haves scraches all over him. he's like a wrestler.
Also the SEGA MegaCD/SegaCD Final Fight is good, much better than the Nintendo versions on SFC/SNES/Wii VC and GBA. Although the SegaCD version is not identical to the arcade, or as good as the X68000 version or the arcade-exact version in Capcom Classic Collection.
Final Fight and Final Fight Guy for Super Famicom/SNES were so incomplete, cut-down and downgraded compared to the awesome CPS1 Arcade version. the best home version was for the obscure Sharp X68000 computer in Japan- it was nearly EXACT to the arcade. now you can play an exact port on PS2, Xbox or PSP with Capcom Classics Collection.
As a SNES kid, I played the fuck out of this game. Back before I knew about Guy and the co-op play, I just loved the shit out of this. I don't care about the sequels or Guy, the SNES was the shit and so was this game, along with many other SNES games in its time.
bruh...I definitely gotta agree with you on that one...Had an SNES since I was like three or four years old (mainly my brother, who was seven years older at the time used it), but, almost sixteen years later, we still have it and I do kick ass in this game and every other game...I'ma take the SNES with me when I go 2 NC Central this fall!!!!...NES, SNES, Genesis, PSX, N64, and all other classics all day!!!!!!
One thing though....If final fight 1 couldnt hold guy and an extra stage...how is it that Final Fight 3 had 7 stages...and 4 characters???? And the graphics were beefed up..
i always thought the conversation was balls. no two player. limited amount of characters on screen. no guy! sluggish ....crap!!....mega CD version much better
yes the MegaCD / SegaCD version was MUCH better, though still not as colorful or as detailed as the arcade, but it was more detailed than the SNES versions (but the least colorful). yet it was also completely intact: industrial level, 3 characters, 2-player, all the animation, all or most of the transistion scenes.
Too bad the gameplay was altered to hell on it. And there still wasn't enough enemies on screen. The SNES game took deep cuts too, but at least the controls reminded me of the arcade game. Can't say that for Sega CD.
Hi, it's me again. And since it can't be a 4Mbit cart it's gotta be a 8Mbit cart...or was it a 4Mbit since it was a launch title and some stuff was missing from it?
I straight up agree with you. Final Fight 2 and 3 didn't really give me a lot of fun of as much as the first one. Still good games though. One day, I hope Capcom forgets Streetwise existed and takes another shot at Final Fight.
Both this and Final Fight Guy ports sucked. They were censored, changed names, and they even took out the industrial area, not to mention Guy too! Which led to FF Guy which was the same thing with no Cody. GBA or Arcade version win along with 2 and 3
I always had this fascination for the clothes that Haggar was wearing... Pants seem pretyy high too be confortable fighting all those street gang members..
can you imagine fighting people in real life to find a 12lb steak in the dustbin to boost your energy?

If they ever make a movie based on this game they should have John Goodman to play the park (he'd have to bulk up for it but he can play the part)

I would argue that the SNES port of Final Fight (and Final Fight Guy, for that matter) showed straight up how NOT to port a CPS1 game.

both Final Fight and Final Fight Guy for Super Famicom/SNES were on 8 megabit (1 MB) carts.
The original CPS1 Arcade ROM was roughly 32 megabits (4 MB).
