i have absolutely no idea what to think on this front! i find it so sad how sev never gets her, which makes you waver to his side, but i hate how he didn't at least acknowledge her decision, and how he was prepared to let the two people she loves most die (harry and james) just so he could have her. you'd think he'd want her to be happy. but you feel sorry for him... SO confused! i think it's because he's the underdog. i bet if sev got her, everyone would be going for james... maybe. confusing!

And he protected Harry because Dumbledore had made him see that Lily gave up her life to save Harry... Sev never (ever) liked Harry... and he really was mean towards him.

I just cried over Snape. Wow, never thought thats something I would do. But when you think about it from Snape's perspective, its pretty depressing. Being in love with Lily who married your worst enemy. It makes you appreciate Snape as a character, and not just see everything through harry's eyes :)

@sweetheartsluv22 I know what you mean. I orginally hated Snape, and then felt so awful when I read the last book. It shows how you shouldn't judge a character. I would have never guessed that he had been through so much pain in his life. Death Eater or not, he took responsibility for his mistakes and went on to protect Harry. I cry everytime I watch a video like this.

Now Severus is my favorite character of the series. :')

Wow He seemed like such a horrible character for most of the books and then in the end he turns out to be one of the best and one of the real heros. This really puts things in perspective. I mean... once you think aboutit... Snape really wasn't that bad of a person. He just made a few mistakes. Everyone immediately calls him the badguy (and don't get me wrong, but I did to), but I kind of feel sorry for him now. The books described it well, but this video really made me think.
