As a DJ and a Gamer, I got the game for my 11 year old soon for X-Mas. He's pretty damn good. Thought he was the shit. So, I put Rock The Bells on my real turntable #1, and Bittersweet Symphony on #2, and told him to get busy.
Funniest shit ever. Sooooo out of his depth. Now he respects what his old man does for a living, but unfortunately for me...he wants real wheels for his birthday now. Fuck it. That's my boy.
Good lord, why is everyone so pissed? It's a goddamn GAME, a toy turntable designed to SIMULATE the experience of rocking a party. Props to the manufacturers for makng a game where the focus isn't the Emcee for a change. The game is fun, and requires about as much work to master as Madden. And no matter how good you are at Madden, you won't play for the NFL. A DJ HERO expert can't rock a real party either.

he only people that find something wrong with music games is musicians. you never see football players dissing madden, or nascar drivers dissing racing games, or boxers dissing fight night. but the second you make a game out of music people get mad pretentious with the whole, "pick up a real guitar" nonsense. like that's any more special than anything else that takes talent and dedication. people make games out of things that everyday people can't do because it's fun. and i rap love good DJs!

umm yea, pretty much in a gaming sense its pretty close to what u just did, its why activision came up with the idea, made the product, then released it....REAL AND KNOWN DJS WORKED ON THE GAME THEREFORE THEY WANTED A DJ GAME OUT TO SHOW OF THEIR MUSIC, granted what a dj does is awesome, but dont be a jackass about a fuckin game

As a DJ and a Gamer, I got the game for my 11 year old soon for X-Mas. He's pretty damn good. Thought he was the shit. So, I put Rock The Bells on my real turntable #1, and Bittersweet Symphony on #2, and told him to get busy.
Funniest shit ever. Sooooo out of his depth. Now he respects what his old man does for a living, but unfortunately for me...he wants real wheels for his birthday now. Fuck it. That's my boy.

Good lord, why is everyone so pissed? It's a goddamn GAME, a toy turntable designed to SIMULATE the experience of rocking a party. Props to the manufacturers for makng a game where the focus isn't the Emcee for a change. The game is fun, and requires about as much work to master as Madden. And no matter how good you are at Madden, you won't play for the NFL. A DJ HERO expert can't rock a real party either.
