Wow, this brought me WAY back. I gigged at bradley university in 199-whatever with this band. It was a trip. They were on a college radio tour, and we totally weasled our way into the opening spot. It was awesome. Ill never foget them asking if they could borrow our "Chooner" (guitar tuner). They got piss drunk, and our singer sang the last 4 tunes with them as they couldnt remeber teh words, then a night of teh heaviest drinking i think i have ever done, Paisley style
i remember replaying this over and over when i was uni. it takes me back, thankyou so much for posting and saving me getting my record player set up again.....
Go buy their new compilation album (October 2009) Forever Until Victory! You'll realise how good music was in the 80's outside of TOTP and mainstream music.
i love this band, the bassist(bob burnett) is my dads mate, he taught me bass a few times and the singer (andy something) is acting as a band manager for my band for a while! love close lobsters
Which one? This original version or that of The Wedding Present???

They sound like an eclectic mix of The Dead Milkmen and Bad English...

I *think* i like the Wedding Present version better...but I'm not sure.
guess I have to listen to them both a bunch of times now. *Sigh* Work work work. Who knew having opinions about music would be so tuff?
