  • Best regards from Serbia

  • LOL.....no individual tinkers around with scientific innovation! Alexander Graham Bell, Benjamin Franklin---all propped up by STATE INSTITUTIONS! LOL.....and Einstein didn't innovate physics while he was in a patent office in Bern! No....the patent office in Bern was the source of his daydreaming and genius! NASA's genius is the product of the government, of course! Not by individual scholars! No! Genius is the product of government intervention!

    What a douchebag.

  • People please read more and deeply about socialism...read about China's economical status and their socialist marketing...it works well for that country...but it will not work on every country though....countries with lack of natural resources then socialism works the best...its an amazing system !!

Read about capitalism...it is CANCER for the society....

dont blame leaders that made mistakes under socialism !!

  • @MES961 So China, Hong Kong, Japan and Singapore have lots of resources? That's the key to their success? Read some Adam Smith to understand how that's a fallacy.

  • The political philosophy of collectivism is based on a view of man as a congenital incompetent, a helpless, mindless creature who must be fooled and ruled by a special elite with some unspecified claim to superior wisdom and a lust for power."

  • @johnnecron WRONG collectivism is based on view of man as something with infinity potecijal But to achieve our goals we need other people , because only sociaety that can provide every individual the opportunity to develop themselves can be called modern. Such society can not be a capitalist because the capitalist principles do not allow individual development. Capitalism degenerate man to an animal that has to fight to survive financially. PS I'm sorry for my bad English

  • Living in a capitalist society, enjoying the freedoms being offered by a multi-party state the gentleman is talking about socialism in the Frm USSR, where as this nice gentleman would not have survived even a week in Stalin's Soviet Union.

  • Excellent speech!

Deffenitly gets the truth across while staying quite simple and easy to follow!

Many people I know should see this!

    Long Live the Communist Revoultion!!!

  • Bottom LINE

    - Marxisms would work if all people involved were equall in personality, habits, ethics and WORK enthusiasm. THE REALITY is that we are all DIFFERENT except for one thing. We all have to be persuaded to work, it does not come naturally to any of us. We all much rather sleep in and watch TV while someone else does our part for growth in society. This is where Marxism fails, eventually everybody will stop making the same effort (or doing their part).

  • First, Marxism is a sociological theory, not a type of economy. Second, what the hell does everyone having equal personalities have to do with communism? The basis for socialism is "he who does not work shall not eat" or "to each according to his contribution." Work more, get payed more. How is that lacking in persuasion to work?

  • No two men work equally. Communism assumes that they would do the same job equally well in order to achieve a greater goal. This simply does not happen in real life.

Your quotes are BIBLICAL and not

Socialistic. "To each according to his NEED" is the correct quote, otherwise it would be Capitalism. There is a BIG difference in the two.

  • Right, someone who has never read Marx in his life is going to tell me the correct quote.

"But one man is superior to another physically, or mentally, and supplies more labor in the same time, or can labor for a longer time; and labor, to serve as a measure, must be defined by its duration or intensity, otherwise it ceases to be a standard of measurement. " ~ Marx

You're quoting out of context, and I actually have a video on this if you want to stop being completely ignorant.

  • - You describe innovation as bad because it causes instability in the market and cyclical recessions. Do you propose than we discard this natural process and revert to the stone age where every man has a lifetime employment swinging a stone hammer?

  • - Government gets all of its resources from the taxes of its people. It produces NOTHING by itself. The only reason it can do MASSIVE projects is because it has a unchallenged monopoly on the largest pool of money. The waist of these projects is directly proportional to their size. Government is inherently inefficient.

  • - No man will work for other mens benefit. It is not selfish or greedy to wont the fruit of your labor. It is just and fair. This is why the first year of the first American colony failed but the second ended with a surplus.

  • Workers work for the benefit of a tiny minority all the time. The entire basis of capitalism is the existence of economic relations forcing the majority to work for the benefits of a minority...to give up the fruits of their labor in exchange for a wage covering only a fraction of the wealth they create for the capitalist. You can not reconcile support for capitalism with this.

The main idea of socialism on the other hand is to give workers full control over the wealth they create.

  • Sorry, but in your example the minority is simply replaced by a different minority called The STATE. In Capitalism, an unhappy employee can simply quit and find a different job, (OR choose to start their own business and become the minority) In Socialism the state is the FINAL and only option for the worker. As far as the pyramid structure of employment, it is simply the nature of the human experience. In Capitalism, anyone can move to the minority if they choose to WORK HARD LONG ENOUGH.

  • No, it's not. You're emphasizing an artificial divide. The whole people govern.

Not anyone can simply become part of the top 1%...that requires millions of dollars in assets. It doesn't justify anything anyway...the mobility to get into a position doesn't justify that position. In some areas Chattel slaves could buy their freedom and become slave owners themselves, and slaves were expensive assets that required lots of work to get the money to buy them. Does that justify slavery?

  • The poorest people today are wealthier than the richest people of 100 years ago. Even the poor in capitalistic countries have apartments, cars, tvs, maybe even computers. Hell, they even take showers EVERY DAY! The poorest regions in the world today are either economically not free, or historically have been economically not fee. Socialism doesn't give workers full control over the wealth they create, it eliminates the possibility of wealth creation for all except government oligarchs.

  • What exactly does that have to do with anything? You could have said the same thing of 1980s USSR or all sorts of other places and time periods.

All depends on how you define it, and I don't care enough to argue definitions with you. If you think that all socialists honestly just want to create undemocratic totalitarian kleptocracies then I feel sorry for you.

  • No, because the USSR in the 1980s was a place where people stood in line for toilet paper, froze to death, and tried to escape to the United States. Socialism is not an alternative to capitalism, it's an alternative to any system where men can act like human beings.

  • Are you fucking kidding me? People in the 1880s had a better standard of living than people in the USSR because they "stood in line for toilet paper"? People in the USSR in the mid 1980s had a standard of living among the top 30 countries, better than places like Malta and South Korea. Not that I think that justifies the Soviet system. That's your logic, not mine.

    Seriously, you're a fucking joke.

  • Cite your sources please.

  • @Questfortruth86 The political philosophy of collectivism is based on a view of man as a congenital incompetent, a helpless, mindless creature who must be fooled and ruled by a special elite with some unspecified claim to superior wisdom and a lust for power."

  • Every one of your exemples is easily debunked.

    - Russia did not defeat every major invader because of its social structure BUT because of its harsh WINTER SEASON and sheer population magnitude. (ex. WW2 - German back is broken at Moscow because the supply lines and most of the equipment froze in "general mud", fate similar to Napoleons)

    -

  • Long live great communism !!!

Long live Marxism and Leninism !!!

Glory to Stalin and Mao !!!

    Death to fascism !!!

  • I like this guy, he sounds smart.

  • Thank you comrade,

I respect your conviction and stand by you in your plight. Long live Marxism and benevolence assist us in our plight. It is wonderful to know that I have comrades all over the world. I am defending our ideology here in America. Capitalism is on borrowed time. In the great words of Marx "It's fall and the victory of the proletariat are equally inevitable."

  • Good vid

  • lol, aristocrat scum were innocent people??

The people who kept the masses of working men and women and their peasant cousins subservient and worse than slaves were anything BUT innocent!!

  • They were not kept enslaved, there was a middle class once serfdom had ended, the middle class being the successful people who Stalin later sent off to be killed or worked to death in camps.

  • Thanks for sending me this video, it's great.

  • no problem Battousai

  • Damn well said.

  • The entire capitalist world is suffering now because of decades Laissez-faire economics..and now Western media is warning of "Socialist take over" due to nationalization occuring in major capitalist economies. I assure you GeneralTosSpecificMe, this is the usual idiotic propaganda the West uses to scape-goat their failures

  • I heard about that great society where everyone shares and EVERYONE WORKS ?

  • I hope America goes down the socialist route, then I won't have to work.

  • If America becomes socialist, you'll either work or starve. The point of socialism is to get rid of parasites that don't work, not create more of them.

  • You are thinking of capitalism. Capitalism means, the harder you work the more you get. You don't know what you are talking about.

  • Capitalism means you can grow rich by exploiting other peoples labor instead of working yourself.

  • No, capitalism means you work your way up a ladder. The harder you work, the higher you move up. Socialism is about sharing and wealth redistribution. Socialism has never worked one time in history because there are people that won't work because they will get everything handed to them. While other people work their asses off only to never get anywhere.

  • A very small amount of people work their way up the ladder. In many cases capitalists just inherit a business from their parents and then live off the labor of others because they control a vital resource, without ever contributing anything to society. Socialism has nothing to do with wealth redistribution, you're thinking of welfare capitalism. In socialism you receive what you've put in. Lenin considered "he who does not work shall not eat" the first principle of socialism.

  • socialism has never worked

  • How so?

  • ZakeD3, please stop responding to this rightwing American idiot. He's reiterating the useless tripe he learnt in 8th grade.

  • What laissez-faire? Where?

  • Interesting. Does the bailout agree with socialist values?

  • Since you are an American, I assume by "Bailout" you refer to the economic package the U.S government is throwing at its failing corporations?

This has absolutely nothing to do with Socialism. This is an example of the Corporate elite looting the treasury, to compensate for their failed financial gambling(Which was allowed due to massive de-regulation, and complete lack or oversight)
