China's and India's CO2 output is increasing, but the US still produces the lion's share (22%) of global CO2. Many US state governments do acknowledge the problem and are doing something about it; the Federal govt needs to do the same.

The mildest case scenario of Global Warming is a neglible change in temperature by the way and we can live with that. The general view is we'll have a one foot rise in sea levels in the next 100 years. Not 20 feet as Al Gore claims. Atmospheric temperature has been in stasis for the last 10 years but oceans have warmed a little.

Now, about the content of your message. It's true that the current level of C02 is the highest it's been definitely in the last million years. However, the majority of it comes from the oceans and decaying plants, only 10% from man. In the past if you observe the ice core samples you mention, and go back further, the C02 concentration has been a lot higher in the past and we didn't become a new Venus did we? They were more than 10 times higher.
Global warming does increase due to Factories, vehicles and cutting down the rain forest. Yes it ranks up with the same amount if you added up all human gass emmisions fro mthier ass. Antarctic ice has grown to record size. Arctic ice is growing. China has been hit with a winter of record cold and snowfall. Baghdad has had snow for the first time in recorded history. In the past 6 months the US has had record cold and record snow. Satellite temperature sensors, the surest temperature gauge that man has, show that since 1998 the earths temperature is going down. Surface temperatures dropped at a record rate in 2007.

I like how he expanded the 'what were they thinking?' device. I love the rhetorical flourishes. But I think he's very wrong to ask to choose not to be angry - I would rather he rally us to anger, like his recent political speeches where he shows his great anger - but I also like it how he launches right in, and the opening lines were terrific. This shows how Gore urged everyone not just the USA, but every delegate and country present, to move on, but make a space for the US, because in two years it will be a different administration.

I don't really care if Gore is/isn't corrupt, or if he did/didn't lose an election unfairly. What matters is, human-induced Global Warming is almost certainly a FACT, supported by the overwhelming majority of scientific evidence and opinion.
China's and India's CO2 output is increasing, but the US still produces the lion's share (22%) of global CO2. Many US state governments do acknowledge the problem and are doing something about it; the Federal govt needs to do the same.

The mildest case scenario of Global Warming is a neglible change in temperature by the way and we can live with that. The general view is we'll have a one foot rise in sea levels in the next 100 years. Not 20 feet as Al Gore claims. Atmospheric temperature has been in stasis for the last 10 years but oceans have warmed a little.

Now, about the content of your message. It's true that the current level of C02 is the highest it's been definitely in the last million years. However, the majority of it comes from the oceans and decaying plants, only 10% from man. In the past if you observe the ice core samples you mention, and go back further, the C02 concentration has been a lot higher in the past and we didn't become a new Venus did we? They were more than 10 times higher.

While in the air he talks about the ice man was found in the GROUND then covered, deep under the snow and ice, then thousands of years later the ice man is discovered "in the ground". "PLANET EARTH" wobbles on its axis and about every 22,000 years the angle changes causing the global temp to change. He also mentions that it is global warming not American warming.

Well, the American people *are* to blame, in that the US is a democracy and the country's representatives reflect the votes of the American people.
One can argue the influences on the American voter, or suggest that election fraud has had some success in inverting voter intent, but sufficient numbers of Americans are on the wrong side, or are guilty through their apathy, to result in the once-great democracy obstructing global efforts against climate change.
