  • great stuff, thankyou for your time and effort in sharing this knowledge.

  • в карман клади

  • thats how they make swords nothing more nothing less

  • is the copper-coil internal watercooled ?

  • my friends how you coneted this for what the material is hot ?? desde colombia muchas gracias.

  • If you want someone to admit to a crime he never committed this is the best tool to wrap around his dick. I'm sure he'll admit to all crimes in the world from the crucifixion of Christ to the murder of JFK including future ones. Nice discovery bud!

  • mmmmm lungfuls of aluminium vapour *drools*

  • Shiny.....

    But will it blend?

  • Comment removed

  • what is the frequency, I can't hear it.

  • Put it in your pool ... World biggest soup.

  • so does this only work with metals if so if you where to put your finger in there would it heat up the iron in your blood?

  • Minature sun yay

  • @AzimSobri HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • really nice!!!

  • Is it zinc or aluminum? you keep saying aluminum but the video says zinc. If you don't know what you're doing, you shouldn't be playing with science.

  • HOW I CAN MAKE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @mina5355 Well for one, try using proper grammar in google. If you can't accomplish that, then I suggest you don't tamper with science if you can't even get literacy down.

  • why does the copper tube not melt?

  • @fjoa123 because its being heated by electricity not the copper tube.

  • @fjoa123 copper melts at 1080 celsius, aluminum melts at 660 celsius, zinc at 419. The temperature is directly related to how much power he's putting through the coils. You could melt your coil if you cranked it up too high without a cooling for your coils. And good luck cooling off something at 1080 celsius that isn't going to screw up the rest of what you're working on.

  • @imsmoother are u dumb , if the aluminium is liquid and it hits water it is like dynamite so please dont do it where there is water: (

  • Grab it with your hands!

  • coil is leaking and dripping water. + melted aluminum....

here's a vid of molten aluminum explosion

    liveleak =dot= com /view?i=93a_1251647793

  • OK ,, now you put your DICK there

  • @AzimSobri Nothing would happen. You have to put some metal inside.

  • @AzimSobri Probably wouldn't do anything

  • @AzimSobri If his dick didn't touch the coil that would do absolutely nothing.

  • @AzimSobri the dick must be made out of iron in order to work...wait i think mine works

  • @AzimSobri not much will happen because male genitalia is non-magnetic.

  • @AzimSobri hahahahha

  • quero faze um deste

  • what happens under no load?? it no thing is dropped inside that hole???

  • You are saying aluminum but the title says zinc. This can't just be zinc, zinc doesn't need to get red hot like that to melt, aluminum yes, so which is it? An alloy? Still cool video. I was thinking of making a video on how to make really pretty zinc nuggets with pennies, it is a way I found to have zinc keep that shiny look it has when it is melted instead of cooling to that ugly grayish color.

  • Are those copper pipes hollow? Is water flowing through them?

  • why dont you put the finger in there?

  • @Thedanisantos07 Nothing would happen, just if you would be xmen with iron-fingers

  • when the aluminum is glowing white put some water on it and see what happen..cool it down in instance...

  • now...TOUCH IT!!!!!!!!

  • @mcstefvil fag

  • @mcstefvil dude sweet

  • dude, i bet your parents get mad...

  • "Hit it with a hammer"

  • What kind of coolant and pump do you use?

  • guys plz dont make one fkin dangerous not to mention the smoke it so toxic it will cause major problems for u down the line such as cancer

  • @Mrshipoopis why waste the comment space here. Do it outside, Wear safety glasses and wear gloves BTW you shouldn't breathe any fumes and everything gives you cancer...Duh..

  • Instant Alzheimer's, right there...

  • could that thing burn your finger or does it only work on metal?

  • @ironlionkalo metal only

  • Comment removed

  • now you can friese eggs on that "oven"

  • The electric company loves this man.

  • now touch it

  • Привет! Милый человек, дай пожалуйста схему этого преобразователя! Если есть возможность, скинь её на почту! Belikov.viktor@mail.ru

Hi! Dear people, please give the scheme of this converter! If possible, Throw her to the post office! Belikov.viktor@mail.ru

  • @d44177 yer i've seen that plus an apple etc, i dk how it's possible with apple because it doesn't really have any metals in it whatsoever, and wasn't that like bad for the frog? lol could kill him.

  • I also wrote an app for the iPhone, Thermal Light, to measure the temperature of the metal from 1000F-2700F!

  • @imsmoother its fuckin amazin !!

  • @imsmoother how did you calibrate the it to the i phone camera?

  • aluminium smoke... it's ok to breathe this, if you don't mind early onset of alzheimer's disease

  • um i know people say this but.... hwat happens to your finger if you put it in it? o.O" :P

  • @david1991rules4life nothing, your finger isnt magnetic.

  • @rich1051414 aww kay yer that makes sense i thought it just made every molecule of any object vibrate really fast and heatup like a microwave (but using not microwaves obv lol) but if this is just for magnetic metals ok.

  • Comment removed

  • @david1991rules4life - if it's the heater part you mean, then it'd burn. your body is (electro)magnetic, but that's not the point.

  • 1:02 water ITS FAKE!!

  • @varanox omg u need to research before you troll, troll.

  • stick your dick in there LOL.

  • electric company love you!

  • its going to be hilarious when you find out smelting aluminum indoors with no protective gear will give you cancer. Congrats!

  • Its a very expensive, very inefficient light bulb! Lol, nice work man, love induction heating.

  • do you connect electricity from your house illegally?

I mean, 3kW is not a normal permissible residential power unless you are running some small scale factory or something.

  • @imanulsofian 3 kW isn't thaaaat much in the grand scheme of things. It's common for microwave ovens to consume 1 kW or more on the highest setting. An electrical stove will typically consume 2-3 kW per plate. You may want to check that the fuse you're connecting the thing through can handle the current, but otherwise it's not a big deal.

  • Nice could you heat body parts too?

  • @quimufpr (1) Theoretically, yes. But the problem is this: The heater is basically a transformer. You're transforming a "high" (high relative to secondary, that is.) voltage with a "low" current through the primary side, the pipe in this case, to a low voltage with a high current in the secondary side. The primary only has a couple of turns and the secondary has no turns, it's just a metal object.

  • @quimufpr So the problem with heating a body part is getting a low enough resistance to induce enough current to do any significant heating. Compare it to what would happen if you connected a good 10V power source through a piece of metal vs through your hand, even if the electrodes were connected inside the skin. Less current in the latter case, because of the resistance. That said, inductive heating of body parts still wouldn't be very healthy, I think.

  • Fake comment: WOW! Do you see how all those newfangled radio waves harm you!!! look at 0:17! He just instantly developed Parkinsons Disease!

  • great cooling circuit

  • do u use water for cooling ?

  • im surprised it didnt turn out liquid,, but wow as shinny as the sun :

  • you better get aways from those sprakls

wow this methode of heatins is superb i love it and i want it too, how ot build one ?

  • ok now hold in your hands for as long as you can

  • Jacuzzi! (:

  • Isnt the smoke that comes off of it intensely mega super toxic?

I imagine that being a instant kill.

  • @kontekijke Zinc itself isn't toxic (it is an essential nutrient) but inhaling the fumes (zinc oxide) will make you really sick (look up "metal fume fever"), usually not fatal though.

  • @ms63129 Then i hope this guy was wearing a mask of some sort. i'd rather smoke 80 cigarettes at a time then inhale that stuff.

  • compliment I could have a circuit diagram with all components marked (with their real name) please if you can with things marked in Italian

  • Looked at your site and tutorial. Looks like a pretty solid design. Problems might be getting gate drive transformer and other ferrite core. Variacs are expensive and sometimes hard to find so maybe you can find a way to control the gate drive (PWM) maybe and IRF450 fets for higher voltage. They are rated at 30A I think. I forget polarity but a diode across the G-S will help the fet turn off faster. Don't know if it would help this situation. I'm not an engineer. :-D

  • Very interesting! Can I use it to melt steel and recycle it into new things?

  • stick your tounge in there.... i triple dog dare ya!

  • good show mate

  • I don't think it's smart to have the wires connected to the copper pipe or waterer the spiral thing is with water right below it

  • at 2:17 those sparks mean youre burning the metal, what was the point?

  • Dude, you can make your own moulds with this thing right?

  • What sort of education do you have?

  • Do Uranium

  • dare you to stick your finger in there. :D

  • That's not zinc, that's aluminum... if it was zinc it would've caught fire. ._.

  • Those fumes are killers do you know that?

  • I like how he said 'Properties'

  • how to make the induction heater?

  • @markuscoollife

I have a full tutorial and plans at inductionheatertutorial dt com

  • @imsmoother i got to go and check my colostomy bag sorry

  • this is a great device.

I will pour out al metal rings. I need a furnace.

can you send me a wiring diagram.

or a description as I can reconstruct the device.

so I can build me a small furnace.

    that would be very nice.

    thank you

    ralph

  • could i make a fast hot dog in one of those??

  • @xjordanx232 Sure, but only if the hot dog is made of metal, as induction heaters only work on metals

  • IT FUMES!!!

  • whats that liquid on the ground near the end

  • HELLO

I AM INTERESTING TO MANUFACTURE IT.

PLEASE SENT ME THE SCHEMATIC AND ANY OTHER NEEDS INFORMATION ( SORRY FOR MY BAD ENGLISH)

    E mail sunrisezero@yahoo.gr

    THANK YOU SO MUCH

  • @Mrsunrisezero people wrighting in caps reminds me of spam mails and malicious software

  • awesome

  • That's some dirty metal. Look at it spitting.

  • TOUCH IT!

  • Thanks Imsmoother for the great Tube and info. lots of good free reading here too..

    richieburnett.co.uk/indheat.html

  • Breathing zinc is really healthy btw ;)

  • NOT BAD AS A CANDLE IS IT?

  • NOT BAS AS A CANDLE IS IT?

  • hey im interested in making somethin like this where can i get the stuff? also is the heat cause by a short ciruit?

  • @uarequeer All the details on how to make it and where to get the parts is described at the top in the description. You can view it at mindchallenger x com slash inductionheater

    The x = .

    the slash = /

  • @uarequeer

LOL is the heat caused by a short circuit ahahahahah u make me laugh. U never heard of an induction coil?

  • can you emagine a white hot rod just falling down into your bed or something

good god that could cause some preatty nasty havoc X_X

  • @tigresssharplesl well something like this happend to me and a friend only that it was a charcoal from a waterpipe when we were smoking in bed it did a hole and we couldnt touch it until it passed trough the whole bed and fell on the ground

  • @Validole we do have induction ranges, they work by heating the pot not the water. They are the most efficient way of heating food out there.

  • how much is it's 3kw in amperes?? where i live we use amperes (A) thanks

  • @g3rrar1 why are some ppl so stupid... Volts x amperes = watts... so let say that he used 120v (unlikely)

    3000 watts / 120 volts = 25 amperes simple right?

  • It is hot but doesn't melt

As you said (audio) it was aluminium not zinc.

Zinc melts about 700 degree centigrade and aluminium at 660.

  • @DieterMe Umm, when sparks fly like that, it's melting.

  • it isn't zinc metal.

  • @guyorgay Zinc is probably inside the bolt

  • How much did this cost you to make?

  • @luthmhor A few hundred dollars. I already owned a variac. I am working on building a boost buck converter to power the unit.

  • @imsmoother I have a variac for my guitar amp, is that the same thing for this?

  • @t3hPoundcake Sure. Anything that can control the input voltage will work. Just make sure you do not exceed the current rating. If it is fused, make sure you stay below that current.

I explain a lot at inductionheatertutorial x com

    where "x" is a .

  • @imsmoother How much does it cost to run this thing.

  • lick it

  • Maybe one day we'll have induction heating stoves where you could put water in a metal pot and boil it in 2 seconds lol

  • @drumslayer27 lol that how stoves work now :P

  • @drumslayer27 heat capacity of water being what it is, not likely. The sheer power required would amount to a small explosion, and all of that would have to be converted to heat in water really efficiently (ie, water would boil near the bottom, and be cold near the top).

  • Lightsaber FTW?

  • will it blend?

  • Zinc Vapors are toxic. Be careful not to breathe it.

  • @irealmedia um no they arent

  • If there was zinc in there, it would have been boiling which releases toxic gas. Be careful of that lol.

  • Your work coil is leaking ;p

What was all that smoke, the aluminum vaporizing in that steel thingy?
