The BEST price I've seen for this ammunition is 800 bucks for 2000 rounds. That's a bulk price for bulk ammo. Smaller amounts will be more expensive. Keep in mind it has a 20 round magazine. One box fills 2.5 mags, for 21.49 a box, IF you can find it in stock.

The ballistic tip bullets will also pierce armor at significant range. I have heard they are effective at about 75 yards, but I could be wrong.
