That gun looks like it's convertable from right handed to left handed. Notice the slot on the right side of the foregrip and the dust cover on the left side of the reciever. Good thing that charging handle is non reciprocating otherwise your hand would be having fun at 2:40 ish. Did that with a Remington 1100. It actually didn't mess my hand up, just really startled me. Of course, that 1100 charging handle was fairly small.

First with the smaller sabot rounds 150 to 200 yards max range is possible but I would not use them that far to hunt like the hornady sst, or the remington accuras they say it can be done.

But if you really want to man it up with stopping power the ko's are good, but the gold mags 3 inch 600 grain for rifled barrels those brenneke's recoil like a beast, they make the ko's feel like a 20 guage reduced recoil, or use a dixi hardcast slug 720 grain, then you will see recoil.

@ProtectandServe21 If your question is serious, a carefully placed slug, with no wind and a bit of luck could absolutely kill a person 200 yards away. Obviously this gun wasn't designed for that specific task but was designed to be a close range weapon. With OO buckshot though.... virtually impossible.

I've fired both the AA-12 and the USAS-12. They're very similar. I didn't even notice that much of a weight difference. The AA-12 felt a little more comfortable under full-auto, but that's about it.

Not sure if there are any differences with regards to reliability. I'd have to ask their owner.

@Rakunasha The USAS 12 and the AA12 are based on the same shotgun. Max Atchisson designed an auto shotgun in the '70s, but no one wanted to manufacture it. Eventually, Daewoo was willing to manufacture a varient of his weapon, and so came the USAS12. Afterwards, Atchisson sold the designs to Jerry Baber, who modified the designs and introduced the AA12. So, the AA12 is more like a "younger brother", though more famous now due to CoD, the Expendables, and Predators.
