  • i wish, you're dead superman.

  • Superman Is MY First Favorite Super Heroes In My Life

  • "..believe it?" ;)

  • THE SHITTIEST superman series ever! Smallville was better.

  • @utubienut Eh, while I like Smallville more, I still really like Lois & Clark and think it's far from the worse live-action incarnation.

  • @utubienut you probably wernt even around when lois & Clark where on tv.

  • superman will also be my first favorite (=

  • He looks like Al from tooltime!

  • Someone, please tell me, what is the name of the villain he faces at 1:10?

  • Esse ai foi uns dos Superman mais apagados da história. E tinha tudo prá arrebentar.

  • karanlik hadu-superman lissing good i know that you are can make good serie films this song its good of usa.

  • bah montages set to music are the most boring youtube content ever

  • At least we actually got to SEE Cain wearin' the damned suit, as opposed to the piss-poor CG mini-Superman in the Smallville finale.

  • @Terralventhe tom didnt want to wear the suit or WB told him not too. Either way, i didn't really care, i mean it would of been cool, but i actually like the old red jacket and blue jeans better.

  • @LegacyOfGamez The red jacket and blue jeans work.. on Superboy, seeing as he's the one who went with that design in the first place.

  • no doubt about it dean cain is the best superman EVER! smallville sucks tbh :L

  • old school superman weak

  • Worst superman ever

  • dean cain is adult clark/superman and tom welling is teenage and young adult clark/pre superman

  • Welling is better than Cain IMO but dean is a boss, and a great superman !

    Welling>Cain>Routh

  • Between Dean Cain and Tom Welling, I think it is really unfair to compare the 2. In my opinion both actor did great job for the period that they did and the time and direction the show was going.

  • Never seen this one. what is about who are the other Super people?

  • I think a lot of people miss the point with Superman. Neither Clark Kent or Superman is the "real" persona, but rather they're just names and a change of clothes. Clark wears the S and cape as a point of pride of his Kryptonian heritage. He is proud of where he came from, but he is also one of us. He's not pretending to be a nerd either. He's an upright person with strong morals, but when he wears the glasses people mistake it for nerdiness. When he wears the suit they see the nobility.

  • I think thie episode were hes in the black suit is called either "big girls dont fly", "lord of the flys", or "battleground earth". it has to be one of those

  • which season and episode was this?

  • I loved Lois & Clark show. I wish it went on for a few more years. Lois & Clark was a little more comic bookish than Smallville. (kinda like Batman with Michael Keaton vs Batman with Christan Bale).

  • No one wore a superman suit like Dean Cain, i'm sorry. He has ass, theighs, and one hell of a smile. lemme tell ya'll. wooooo getting hot flashes just thinking about it.lol

  • dean cain was not tall enough to be supes infact he was a lil too fat

  • Teri Hatcher was the hottest Lois Lane EVER!!

  • @merikwolf and that's true too.

  • @merikwolf I bet you would not say no to Erica durance striping of to show her black underware and saying take me big boy

  • cain is the best clark/superman ever

  • I dont remember any of this. This from the last season of Lois and Clark?

  • @LWAigasu This is the last episode of season 3....i have all 4 seasons on DVD...

  • @fndfauzee Oh ok, they need to show reruns. There is alot about the show I do not remember.

  • this show was fucking boring as hell...

  • awesome!!!!!

  • This video was awesome.

  • this show puts smallville to shame

  • Dean Caine was the worst Superman ever imo

  • this is faggiest superman series ever

  • @siliconsurf No, it's just how Superman was viewed in the 90s.

  • LA SERIE LA PLUS POURRITE RIEN AVOIR AVEC LE MYTH DE SUPERMAN

THE worst SERIES TO HAVE NOTHING WITH THE MYTH OF SUPERMAN

    Smallville it is better!!! ^^

  • Dean Cain is suited for the role....: )

how I wish they should continue this...

  • Cain was a fine Superman, IMO.

  • I remember the new krypton episodes and that Nor fella, - he was basically General Zod! Why didn't they do that and make him more fearsome and less a Battlefield Earth Terl character! - ANd yes I do know the episode was called Battleground Earth - hmmm a prelude to the worst film of all time!!!

  • Which is the episode in which Superman has the black costume?

  • is this like mexican superman? wtf

  • He's part Japanese. And yes, Japanese people look like Mexicans. So do partially native whites. You got a problem with natives? I'll tomahawk your face, motherfucker.

  • oh, sorry, seemed not to work....

  • Does anybody know the name of this song?

  • @Lennycek this song is called The Last Fight by Velvet Revolver hope that helps

  • @kiki5luvs5clark5k thx i didn´t notice the inform was there at authors profile :-) anyway thx

  • does anybody know the name of this song?

  • Who were the Kryptonians in this one? My memory isn't what it used to be.

  • @tlyoung88 they are from krypton and they are trying to take superman to rule over new krypton

  • When they flew out of the window it's was like someone had switched on a massive hoover outside.

  • i must admit dean did a good job of portraying superman he should of been in the movie or tom welling for that matter

  • he was in smallvlle with tm welling

  • I love the suit in this show, because it LOOKS like something Martha Kent might have made, while still looking iconic and inspirational.

This is still the best Superman show ever, in spite of every one of its flaws.

  • i rember terry hatcher as loris lane she had super power that one espiode and superman did not

  • Wow I remember watching this episode.

  • the suit in this series was messed up because the normal one is not that colour and its too shiny

  • So is World of New Krypton (the comic) based on this episode?

  • More like this episode stemmed from ideas following WONK. The suit, the battle...all that came from the Return of Superman.

the story of WONK---lol- "wonk"---- actually has roots from an old Else worlds tale in which Superman splits into a good version of red& blue supes, revitalized/regrows the city of Kandor, and all the Kryptonians pull together to build a new world. Spoiler: Red supes marries Lana on New Krypton, Blue Spes marries Lois and keeps to earth. Super kids all around.

    Go figure

  • I just read the comic online & it's just the opposite Superman Blue marries Lana & stays on earth & Superman Red marries Lois & goes to New Krypton.

  • @IHS7 Not directly, but it does make you wonder.

  • thats cool

  • Comment removed

  • Not really

  • I loved this show

  • dean cain was the best superman since reeves

  • That black suit with the blue S is going to be Clark's costume in season 9 of Smallville apparently.

  • no it's a silver S

  • I made that comment before season 9 started, so why correct me for?

  • true ive seen pics of it :)

  • @SkullXII well that failed because it didnt happen motherfucker!

  • @Fleshman00 What's wrong with people and gratuitous swearing? That served no purpose, you just wanted to compensate for your nerdiness (since you're on a Superman video) by talking like a "bad ass". Little hint; being an aggressive idiot on Youtube doesn't compensate for whatever you're like in real life.

  • @SkullXII Set the record straight bro.

  • @SkullXII ma che cazzo dici idiota

  • i give a 5

  • the villian at 1:10 was called taz an assain sent by lord nor to kil superman so nor can become lord.

  • you should be embarassed for what you said. Marvel and DC fans must respect each other. The truth is, Stan Lee wouldn't have created anything without Superman, he was the first and still the ULTIMATE SUPER HERO.

  • @sonofsparta6633 What are you talking about ?So much of Marvel is ripped off & plagiarized from DC.

    Marvel ripoffs from DC:

    Hawkeye from Green Arrow

    Mr. Fantastic from Plasticman

    Quicksilver from Flash

    Dr. Spectrum from Green Lantern

Wasp & Antman from The Atom & Dollman

If not for DC Marvel would be nothing!!!!!!

    And Superman started it all!!!!

  • who's the villainm at 1:10?

  • which episode and season is this?...

  • Season 3 Episode 22

  • リーブ最高\(^ー^)/

  • yes, the feminists of the 1930s had such a strong foothold on the comic book heroes of the day...

    you're an idiot.

  • @Canaboy12 Offcourse, it is in deed a well known fact that during the pre WWII period, the feminists used all their influence on the comic world to destroy and humiliate men. Asshole

  • Love this show, great montage, it was a resurgence of the Silver Age. Dean Cain's Superman had a midwestern accent, which was a cool touch.

  • My opinion: It should have been a major fist to fist brawl. But I guess the way this show was designed, a bo-staff style fight wasn't so bad.

  • Why is everyone bashing Dean Cain's Superman? He was awesome and even better as Clark Kent. This was a Superman based on the Byrne era, a Superman who was was tough as nails and a Clark who was smart and independent not some bumbling buffoon. Cain's Superman/Clark actually was in some a episodes, a badass and not some whiny bitchy farmboy who pined over Lana and avoided his destiny constantly. Cain's Clark pwns Welling's!

  • @johntheroid Thank you! As someone who couldn't stomach even an entire season of Smallville, I totally agree with you. Dean as Clark forever!

  • @johntheroid I have to admit even though I didn't like how L & C was structured (a bit too mundane for a Superman show) Dean Cain's Superman/Clark was definitely smarter and more incisive than Welling's. But in saying that nothing wrong with Welling's potrayal overall.

  • @johntheroid Some of the scripts were poor, but that's to be expected in TV. The main thing is, this was a long running show. And it was apopular one too. Half the people who bash it were probably fans.

It is a very modern and trendy thing to make fun of stuff from the past, but Dean Cain made his mark on Superman, and I think it was a good mark.

  • @johntheroid as a fan of both smallville and Lois and Clark I have to clap..tell it! This version of Superman was much less annoying and whiny! (I love u Tom, but it's true)!

  • @johntheroid I'd feel better about this compliment John if you were a girl. either way, you're completely right. Dean was more about being Clark than Superman and a very personable and likeable Clark. A sexy romantic Clark. Definately better than the androgoneous goombas they got for Smallville and superman returns.

  • @johntheroid Totally agreed. Dean Cain is the only SUPERman

  • @johntheroid I agree with you; Dean Cain as Superman was the sh%t!

  • @johntheroid i agree that dean cain's clark/superman was good but its because in smallville tom welling is supposed to be inexprienced and selfish(always ignoring saving the world for a few) and tom welling did a good job playing clark younger because its something never done on tv before(superman before he was superman) so he had to more or less guess how to act dean cain had past actors experience

  • @johntheroid I think they had to change the storyline because they didn't want to have pay for using Superman which is like a trademarked/copyrighted character. That's why you'll only hear " He's a super man" or a variation of that. Or the red-blue blur

  • Wow, I really like this song

  • @johntheroid Admittedly Dean Cain could use more bass in his voice for Superman, but his Clark Kent is great.

  • how can u say this is a bad superman??this is so original

  • smallvilles clark was a brooding pussy who never wants to fight. dean cain is great at downplaying roles but not mocking them. I hate tom welling, dislike brandon routh, respect christopher reeves and love dean cain. 3 out of 4 have the courage to wear tights and that is respectable. welling can suck it

  • u can suck it

welling doesnt have a poofy tight fetish like you

so stop having a go at a perfectly good actor for the way he is made to portray superman in his earlier years!!!!!!!

  • hey smallville clark is the best ok. the reason hes like that is because is not cause of him. is because of how the writers make him out to be.

  • smallville Clark does a good job at what he does, but he certainly isn't the Clark that was originally written, I look at tom and i see a tank, i don't see a goofy awkward man, i see a 6ft 2 tank who is dashing and could very well be a superman....which isn't what Clark is supposed ot be like at all, the only time tom played an convincing Clark is when zatanna made him forget he was superman

  • you r soooooo rith dud

  • Wait a second... isn't the plot of this episode the same thing that is happening in the comics right now?

  • ehh im more of a "Tom Welling Superman" fan then a "Dean Cane"

plus this show was kinda "Hokey" but it was still pretty good

  • While I don't remember most of the series cause bad memory and so long ago, I grew up from ages 8-12 watching this and Dean Cain is my superman, though I respect Mr. Reeve's work and passion.

  • I'm sorry but dean caine is a lame superman

  • *Superman SECOND.

  • Dean Cain is definitely the best Superman other than Christopher Reeve, because he's the only actor who plays Superman as Clark Kent first and Superman first. His show was the only one that actually chose to go in a different direction to the movies and for that, I have nothing but respect and admiration for his performance. A great Clark Kent and a wonderful Superman. The supporting cast and Teri Hatcher are undefeated by any other actors. John Shea is the best Lex ever and Lane Smith is MAGIC.

  • Dean Caine was the worst Superman, but not his fault. Direction on that show sucked!!

  • No seriously the guy sucks playing superman, he looks too bored lol.

  • lol and that stupid-ass hairdo they had for him

  • lol. I think mr reeve and tom does the best roles of superman, anyone else and it looks weird. And yea you are right, the direction of the show. I never watch this superman series tho, only seen bits of footage of it and i was never into it.

  • Lord Nor was by far the best villian in this series because he had all the same powers as superman.

  • Wow, the speciall effects were quite good this season. I just used to remember those terrible FX from season 1.

  • Now I know why SUPERMAN came back in a crystall space ship......... From the movie.

  • Hottest Lois yet.

  • my favorite Superman y far

  • Man, Dean Cain's S shield sucks... it looks cartoony.

  • haha i rememeber that episode

he like turned bad and worked for lex luthor

i was so young when i watched this show

    goodtimesgoodtimes

  • the black costume with blue S is cool.

  • perfect!!

  • thank you!

  • I like dean cain as superman. he was so...friendly. smallville's superman is okay, but a little too dark at times. and his lois is way too mean. and where did chloe come from ? I'd rather see clark of smallville with chloe than with smallville's version of lois.

  • they altered lots....youre only questioning lois? why arent you questioning why jimmy is the same age range as him, or why he met lois when he was a kid, and so on and so on

  • your are completely correct as well

  • I agree with you 100%

  • Where the hell did all these kryptonians come from and what is New Krypton? I thought Superman was the Last Son.

  • the special effects of this series was so shit. smallville has really done a good job.

  • You have to consider the time when the series was created. If you look back at season 1 of smallville the effects look pretty shitty as well.

  • yea that is true

  • Good point.

  • It was 1993, cut them some slack, lol.

  • No, It was 1996 and by then, the FX were amazing for a TV show with a low budget.

FX sucked hard in the first 2 seasons but got a hell of a lot better in 3 and 4.

  • @omegakurt20 are u fucking serious smallville isnt even superman they fucked the continuity so completly much that it.... that show is such garbage compared to this show, at least this show had the balls to put superman in a costume instead of a fucking black shirt and trench coat. and smallville has even worse looking special effects considering its 2010. that show offends me any other real superman fan.

  • @thefatman69dude

    1. Clark from Smallville is not Superman. He is on the way to become Superman.

    2. What's so special with red cape and blue tights? I prefer Superman's suit from Batman Beyond.

  • is this the final episode ever??

  • no no, this is just the last episode of season 3 and first couple of season 4.

  • oh right thnx. How does it finaly end then??

  • In the Season 4 finale, also the series finale, Lois and Clark have been married for quite a while now and after many trials, are finally ready to have a child together. They reveal his secret to her father in hopes he can help them figure out if it's possible for them to conceive. Eventually, Sam's knowledge of Clark is erased, though not before he gives his daughter a negative answer. Although by episode's end, Lois and Clark find an abandoned baby on their doorstep, a baby belonging to them.

  • Lmao 0:59-1:10 Superman got owned!

  • the black suit looks awsome!

  • So i leave knowing that a world full of heroes has nothing to fear, believe it or not.

  • the galatic fiend behind this arc, Lord Nor was a pretty entertaining sarcastic bastard, he was like General Zod meets Richard Branson on acid

  • That video was awesome.

  • thank you! 8)

  • Dean Cain made a far better Clark than a Superman

  • definately agree with you on that one, but then again its also because that's what the show was focused on

  • Yeah, Deans portrayal of the show's Clark was awesome.

But the Shows definition of Clark I did not like so much.

To suave and charming, CK needs to be bumbling and clumsy. Like Bill says in Kill Bill 2, Clark Kent is Supermans "critique" of humanity, or rather; when imitating something you don't act as it IS, but as you SEE IT.

Therefore this Clark would mean Superman sees humanity as charming, suave and confident.

(and some of us are) but I prefer the traditional CK.

    But Dean Cain was awesome.

  • perfect example: in batman tas, there is an episode where bruce wayne disapears and superman dresses as batman to investigate, while talking to comissioner gordon he does a classic "superhero pose" hands on waist, chest out,and looking in the sky, even though HE doesnt do this pose as superman,in his mind that his how he sees batman, gordon even looked over "batmans" sholder at robin as if to say:"what the fuck is wrong with him?"

  • Whats the name of that episode? I would lvoe to watch it! Thanks

  • Clark doesn't need to be bumbling and clumsy. That's pre-crisis Superman, where Superman is the man and Clark Kent is the disguise. Its only in the Reeve movies that he is portrayed that way. L&C is post-Crisis Superman, wher Clark is who he is, Superman is what he can do. That said Dean's Clark wasn't suave or charming, actually. I would say that was more George Reeves' style. Dean's Clark was shy, square and a 'farmboy' too, just not over the top bumbling.

  • you're absolutely right.

I simply prefer Clark as (in Bills words) "Supermans critique of humanity".

Besides, maybe it just appeals to my sense of humor to watch Superman play clumsy and bumbling.

Not sure how they're gonna define him after this crisis. (far as I know, the new origin story isn't out yet, but correct me if I'm wrong here.)

  • Awesome! 5/5

  • Thanks!

  • Thanks! 8) Me too

  • and me too*!!!
