its called fadc which stands for focus attack dash cancelling. u press medium kick and medium punch right after the uppercut (or w/e move) hits and then dash to a direction and input the ultra. you could probably youtube a video on how to do it

I Have Done All of the trials in sf4 and when i look back i really struggled with ryu's they were my 1st trials i attempted once you get the hang of it it becomes second nature canceling is a must to know in order to get through these trials i strongly suggest leaving c viper until last her combos are insane and if you try them first this will just make you think all trials are too hard i can do all ryu's now withing 5 mins in fact i even use canceling online thanks to the trials. dont give up

if you want to link the combos in sf4, u gotta time the pressing time right, and press only what is needed.

Say if you are spamming away at ur MP, if you manage to land the 2nd MP, chances are you won't be able to combo in ur HK sweep due to the fact that ur still spending that extra 0.5 s spamming at ur MP, which causes u to lose that few frames in which u need to press the HK in order to combo it in

Yeah, but the thing is, if you play this game called Maximum Impact (A KOF game) it has something very similar to it, plus, cancelling's been around for some time now. It doesn't flow as smoothly as other fighters though

Well, Maximum Impact was named "2006" in America, it's a 3D fighting game. Anyhow, I wouldn't say 12 was horrible, it was just completely different... The graphics were great, the music was pretty good, it was just a drastic change from the series, it practically wasn't KOF anymore "^^
