  • Hey, Gonzo isn't that actually a pencil, 'cause pens don't usually have a pink eraser, or a no. 2 on it. Yet, Morris Mouse did squirt ink out of it, maybe it's a pen that looks like a pencil.

  • flying squirell, lol. wonder who that is.

  • KITTIE!!!

  • awwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!! I love this scene with Gonzo and Irving mouse it's freaking halarious and adorable!!!! ;D

  • So this is why I was curious about eating paper as a kid...

  • Skeeter played Olive Oyy to Kermit's Popeye? No Wonder Piggy objected! XD

Love all the references, especially the ones from the 30s and 40s.

  • Whoa. I saw the little dinosaur thing from The Hand Behind The Mouse.

Piggy: Take a hike you winged weirdo (ties string around Gonzo's nose)

  • We love cartoons, we love all the action.

We love cartoons, how they dance and sing.

We love cartoons 'cause they're the main attraction.

    Cartoon heroes can do anything.

  • and turn it into living pork, lolol!!!

  • 4:23 HITLER!? (first time l saw that)

  • @pizzazi That wasn't Hitler. That was animation director Max Fleischer. He produced the Out of the Inkwell cartoons with Koko the Klown and created Betty Boop. His studio is the one that brought Popeye from comics to the big screen.

  • @ESLinstructor1 I suppose if it's one thing you can thank this show for was introducing us to these pioneers of animation despite only appearing in these short clips.

  • Animal: A baby that eats anything and everything, can't even stand to eat Fonzie's jokes. LOL!!!

  • I love the fact that Gonzo was representing Walt Disney & having Irving turn on Gonzo is like Ub Iwerks--Mickey's initial animator-- leaving Disney for the upcoming what-would-be WB studio (especially since the 1930's had practically every character look similar...Oswald, Felix, Mickey, Bosko & Honey, Foxy & Roxy, et al).

  • dude i love you!!!!!!! i remember this from like when i was five and i have been looking for this clip FOR YEARSS!!!! the only part i wanteed was when gonzo was with the mouse. I LOVE THAT SONG WHILE HE IS WITH THEM!!!!!!!!! .........You made my day. THANKS!!!

  • The dino footage was from GERTIE THE DINOSAUR , while the other footage in the musical number was one of the works by Ub Irwerks.

  • "I'll have none of that in my cartoon." LMAO

  • Gonzo has a no nudity clause in his cartoon. HOW CUTE!!! LOL!!!

  • Man, this was such a great show. I remember being a kid and spending hours making flip books after watching this episode. Muppet Babies always inspired me to try new things and make up new adventures for myself as a kid. It really is a great show for kids, I think, especially in how it stresses using your imagination instead of relying on toys or video games (although there is that one episode about video games :P).

Anyway, my two cents. Thank you so much for uploading all of these!

  • I agree with everything you said. ;)

  • thanks i wasn't a 100% sure so thank you

  • doesn't the nanny sound like the mother in leave it to beaver

  • Take this puppet of cork and turn her into living park...VAVOOOMMM, lol.

  • Kaity: Tbat's the whole point. Gonzo was representing Walt & hsving Irving turn on Gonzo is like Iwerks leaving Walt for the upcoming what-would-be WB studio.

  • Is there anything Animal DOESN'T eat?

  • wow piggy just hurt the person who brought her to life.. so ungrateful.

  • Who voiced Irving mouse?

  • (02:56) Hey, that's Koko the Clown!

  • I'm guessing Frank Welker

  • "Bad joke!" XD!

  • irving plays homage to mickey mouse. mickey was going to be called mortimer, but obviously got changed.
