@silentuzi This is on the hardest difficulty, its on Realistic. The reason I wasn't fully spotted is the shadow overlaps the edge of that wall enough so as to only trigger a minor warning. Anyway there are some much better walkthroughs out on youtube now including a full stealth approach to the opening few moments.

Do you call this play "stealth"? Making you identify before entering the Third Echelon, and killing the guards with fragmentation grenades .... pssffh!!! Sorry true that the game, you can't play more stealth because the bastards of Montreal, especially Maxime Beland, wanted to turn to Splinter Cell, but using fragmentation grenades is everything but not furtive!

@DESIATONE Appreciate your point of view on the first few moments of that mission but as I stated before it is simply not possible to enter 3rd Echelon in a stealthy way, throwing an emp grenade, or a flashbang or even using the emp backpack will result in you being shot before you reach the door because it wears off before you can reach the guards. This is the ONLY way I found of making it through in-time without being killed. After this point it is possible to play stealthily once again.

@DESIATONE you actually could do the whole entire game stealth you just got to be creative and patient type in splinter cell conviction full stealth walkthrough on the search bar and you'll find your stealthy splinter cell

This is my favorite mission from this game, but you could have played it more stealthy in the beginning.:) You threw a frag grenade and later used EMP, but it's still nice.

@Doxilon Thanks mate. The reason being because if you don't emp or kill the guy behind the counter he will shoot and kill you as you run and again with the 2 guys at the end of the hallway, the only way to get past them on realistic difficulty is to kill them, if you throw an emp it wears off before you can get close enough and the same with the emp backpack. Also you have to get under the door before it closes. If you know a stealthy way of getting past them let me know.

LOL.... I don't even realised that it is possible to climb through the top false ceiling during my play... I pratically stealth killing everyone in the office. hahahahaha... :P
