For those who are confused, this woman has Multiple Personality Disorder. She's fighting her alter ego Maria, the prostitute, to see who gets the body and which personality leaves forever. The teacher causes this when Maria seems to be letting go slowly and she ruins everything by going a step too far by removing Maria's stuff. The reason she's covered with make up at the end is Maria is trying to take over but the teacher resists and then Lil' Slugger hits her with his bat.

I really loved this series. I liked how it was about how that because people run away from their problems and want someone to save them, they lose any sense of life towards the end. And it's all because we don't want to look inside and recognize what we've done and forgive ourselves for it. We want someone to save us from ourselves, but no one can do that, only you can.

Well, with MPD I believe some medication that is used to treat schizophrenia episodes will lessen the amount of times you'll fade in and out of personalities, however I don't believe it is possible to completely rid yourself of the "other side of you"...however I'm not a psychiatrist so I may be wrong.

It varies from person to person, however usually the weaker one is the real one. People with MPD use the other characters as a defense. The usual cause is sexually abuse, so Maria is the created personality.

In my view, the first episode she was too pressured by her work and couldn't handle the jealousy of her co-workers, and I agree about wanting to be the center of attention. The second episode was obssesed by attention as a narcist, but was afraid by the people at the same time. The third: double personality.

She could have the alter ego because her life was dull and simple, like Maria said. Or maybe something happened when she was young and it's coming out now. Or, in some twisted way, Maria could be the original and Harumi is the alter ego. In which case Maria probably thought what she was doing was wrong and the other ego was formed to try and help herself. I hope I helped you out somehow.

No, it's Bat Shonen. Bat Shonen attacks people who are stressed to the point of nervous breakdown. I think he feeds on stress. Tsukiko was stressed because she was running out of ideas, the split personality lady was about to lose it because her alternate personality wouldn't go away. The fat kid was about to lose it because the person he was trying to reach out to was being an ass, and the popular kid was about to lose it because everyone thinks he's Bat Shonen.
