Just try not to mix melodies over each other.

To be honest, some djs get really anal about the keys of tunes. It's not something to worry about or something that will happen often. Just you must watch out for it at the cueing up stage. Just use your judgement, a key clash will just sound a nasty.

Hey mate, some djs get really anal about it with charts and computer pograms to anaylse keys. I wouldn't bother personally.

Just always be weary when your mixing the melody of one tune over another. It usually doesn't sound too great.

I'm sure if you listen to your mix you can kina tell the overlap doesn't sound the best. To be honest, we all get it wrong sometimes (key wise), just keep practicing.

Mix 1 - was a little jerky...It started going out slightly towards the end and you sorta hurried to get out of paris avenue.

Mix 2 - you got locked in nicely but there was definitely a key clash.

Not bad, just keep practicing.

Well it's almost like you put up quality, I put up numbers :) At the moment I have the pc just besides my gear so at anytime I could start recording when I want so quite easy to do the vids. Hope you get records, lots of them.

Well i've always said quality before quantity. but it doesnt work in this case the more mixes you have the futher you can broadcast and promote yourself. I record using my video cam and i hardly ever have it as my mum has it most of the time andi can never find it lol.
