I've been watching you for a couple years now (since around the time you did Leaf green) and I've got to say, going back and watching this definitely shows how much has changed over time, you guys have definitely improved but this was still enjoyable, especially since it's always nice to see where someone started out.
Notice the spell select screen? Looks VERY much like the weapon select screen on Gradius. Overall this game looks like another installment of Parodius if you ask me. Was Konami any way involved with this game?
So this was your very first LP kudos. Ive been thinking of LPing myself but I could never find out how to hook up the equipment. Nor could I find the programs. I really hope in the future you will make a video teaching us how to make an LP.
Just a little info: "märchen" loosely means "folktale" or "fairy tale" in German. Also, I like the idea you decided to do an LP of this game! I was waiting for someone to do one on it for a while!
Great!! :3 Sorry I only sent that so fast-- to be honest, I wanted to review the rest of th evideo before I commented, but sometimes my hastiness gets ahead of me.. <:3
No problem, give credit where credit is due. Thanks for the advice on what program to use. xD
<_< Pshaw! Between you and all the other LP'ers I've been watching, I hope to make the LP community proud! ...for whatever reason there is to be proud of.
This one is for the SNES, there are a few others in the series as well with the same layout for other systems.
They have Cotton games for the NEC PC Engine/TurboGrafx-16, Mega Drive/Sega Genesis, Sega Saturn, PS1, Neo Geo Pocket Color (Awesome system by the way), and Dreamcast.
It's pretty darn fun, it's just a tad short and some points are just a little "Whhhhhhhhhy!?", but it's a game where good times will be had by all.

I own this game, the physical version. You can pick it up for generally pretty cheap on the 'bay. Paid about 16 bucks, but well worth it.

Awesome-looking game, great commentary, and thanks so much for the shout-out/plug.
The fact that I'm inspiring new LPers now is a little scary. >_>
