dude, the title "Esa Promesa" may be Spanish but the song itself is Korean/Japanese (but taking in consideration that the game itself is of Korean origin, I'd say the song is Korean). Oh right, if you haven't heard the original song look it up in the related videos section...it's somewhere there. Or better yet if you haven't tried this game, play it! This game rocks!
I have played the game, I played closed beta. I know it's Korean but I was saying that it should be Spanish because of the name. I know they based the game off of Spain. Before I never knew what Grenado meant but it means pomegranate in the Spanish language also known as Castilian (what I speak) which is the real Spanish language.
The title may be in spanish but this song is definately Korean cuz 1. it is a BGM for the Korean game(GE) and 2. No spanish guy took part in composing this song 3. the song's lyrics are all korean.
yes it is, though it is in a different format and you just need a little program to be able to see the music, after you get the program , you can rip it by yourself, and not only that, but all sound effects too.
And I guess I'm hinting too much.....just pm if you wanna know more.
Played most of the game and heard most of the songs and this song right here might just be the best on the whole OST (the violin puts it above all the rest from the start - not to mention the map where this plays goes perfectly with it)
That wouldn't make sense for this song, because Esa Promesa is Spanish for "That Promise". So I'm guessing if someone actually sang in that song it should be in Spanish, not Korean because that would be totally pushing it ;P
I'm fairly certain the non-instrumental version of this is in Korean. Can't be 100% sure, but I know it isn't Spanish. They did some weird stuff here, even the game itself is translated from Spanish into "Seedy Sword." (Well, technically "Sword Seedy" because I think in spanish the adjective is supposed to come after the noun. Making it backwards in both languages.) And they even threw a few English words into the other Esa Promesa. So yeah, they've totally "pushed it. ;p"
Dude, Esa Promesa is DEFINATELY Spanish. You're being extreamly ignorant to say that it isn't Spanish. I am Spanish, both my parents are, I would know. I'm basically just saying I find it a bit stupid for it to be named in Spanish words while it isn't made by Spanish people at all. The word "Granada" is a city in Spain, or passion fruit. "Granado" however isn't a Spanish word at all, for all we know it could be a made up word. And yes, "Espada" means sword.
Actually you must not be spanish or not completely know the whole language, cause Granado is a spanish word meaning choice, or select. And If you were spanish you would know that Granado is also a famous Spanish piano player.
Granado means pomegranate LOL (this is emmeYEAH on a diff account btw). And I know Spanish, considering I am from SPAIN. I am Spanish, not hispanic. And just because it's a city doesn't mean it means something, but yes it means something I didn't know what it meant back then, wow a year ago! Time flies. Anyways it means pomegranate.
Oh and another thing, words are pronounced differently in different spanish origins, but all originate from one word. Granado may also be another form of Granada. Just because your parents derive from Spain or ARE Spanish doesn't mean that they will remember every word and all of it's meanings, sometimes things are hard to put into words.
As a side note, the lyrics for this song and from "Come on my boy" seam to be in Japanese rather than Korean (at least to me). And tracks from this game were composed by various people, so it doesn't have to be Korean at all. Most likely different people named this song and the game.
Most of GE's music composers are Korean, in fact (SoundTEMP, S.F.A, Kim Jun-sung) with the exception of Osamu Kubota, obivously. This song was composed by S.F.A.
K you right, I did a small search and found Esa Promesa lyrics. While in game it sounded Japanese (to me), the lyrics are definitely in Korean. Probably Come on Boy is in Korean too (I couldn't find its lyrics), but that track sounds very Japanese. I always thought that Korean and Japanese don't sound very alike, but I guess I was wrong.
i have all the tracks from granado espada on my computer but cant remember how i got it rofl ^^
