No, this is the original phone, the GSM version the one from sprint has the same internals but they decided to change the casing, iirc the Sprint version is CDMA as well. someone correct me if i'm wrong.

I am looking to purchase the Hero, but am wondering whether I should buy the white or the black/graphite version. I read that the white is the one that has the teflon scratch reisitant coating, but is not available on the black model.

Correct only white has teflon treatment but honestly i'd go for the black or brown in this video because the white WILL get dirty

There's not much to it...you just flick a switch to switch it on when you want Google maps to use use it instead of Wi-Fi. The End.

expansys is the main one i dont know of any other US stores.

Problem is that it doenst support the US HSDPA band where as the samsung i7500 does.
