The way you show the pen being held at 3:09 is how I do it. I try all the time to hold it your way but I just don't have the control that I'd like to have. Perhaps it's because I'm left-handed and pushing the pen takes more control than pulling it, as right-handers do.

Thanks for the great tutorials, although might I suggest perhaps putting your recording device on a tripod? Or at least someone with a steadier hand?  Thanks. I'm dizzy.
