@inc2000glw uhh disney,ESPN, and SEGA all got fucked by EA at the same time and then 2K becomes its own company and rivals EA in basketball and hockey while ESPN can only show 4 seconds of hockey on sports center and SEGA can only rely on Sonic games which are now on and off these days. Basicly disney's ESPN and SEGA got screwed over by the NHL lockout and as soon as its over the NHL is now on versus during weekdays, pissing off thousands

EA is starting to use the ESPN license for the NCAA and NBA games. They can't use NHL because ESPN doesn't show the NHL anymore, at least they got Bill and Gary.
If EA uses the ESPN license for the presentation, as long as the gameplay is great I will throw my money at then and buy the game. I am a sucker for games that use the ESPN license at its advantage(2k3-5)
too bad well never see NHL on ESPN unless ESPN can work a contract where they share the brodcasting with NBC
