question; why does this ss only have 397 hp? A stock ss has 415-25 depending on whether it's automatic or manual. I am confused

@someguyperson6 Because the rated HP is measured at the crank shaft. after drive train loss you get 15-20% less;) My crossfire has 420-440 at the crank but I only put 360's to the tires. It is 600 lbs lighter than the camaro and that is why I whoop them in a race;) To be fair I have $1500 in mods;)

I have a Crossfire SRT 6 modded to 420-440 HP and It weighs 3200 lbs full of gas so I think all the SRT 8's are slow. The camaro gives me the best challenge of the pony cars and sounds great. I beat one of the new 5.0 stangs but I don't see them as often. With some good mods and a dyno tune the camaro should match me very well;)

when you guys gonna do a 2011 5.0 mustang couse from what iv seen from my new 5.0 mag here in front of me is 381 at the wheels with a 4th gear pull and 366 with a 5th gear pull in wich you are not going to use in a quarter mile unless you have 456 gears.

Man, How the hell could you even hear the sound of the Exhaust over the sound of the Dyno Machine, I thought the Dyno Machine sounded Better than the Exhaust. I didnt even know that the Test had even start yet until the guy got out of the car and the Camara moved over to show the Crappy vodeo footage of the computer screen that you couldnt even see the numbers that the Dyno put out, Then this Guy couldnt even use Windows Movie Maker to Edit the Video to let us to the Dyno # the Camaro Put Out.

@starksy17 If motor trends dyno results are accurate, that would be the first time ford understated the amount of ponies and exceeded its own expectations for itself and the buyer... Ford is notorious for overstating the amount of HP there vehicles put out, esp the mustang... For example take the 2007-2009 Shelby GT500, its stated to have 500 HP at the flywheel, but actually when it was dynoed it only made 450.. Which is still alot, but not an accurate claim and somewhat disappointing...
