@1love245 I couldn't disagree more. I knew this song and this musical a long time ago before I watch Glee. But I loved Glee's version. And I think it's a great thing that they remake all of these classics. By that, the young people can know this and have more culture. So, everyone has the right to like or dislike a version or an other, but we can't say that it's a bad thing that this show make people discovers songs like this one.

@1love245 Thats not true! Glee remakes all these classics and doesn't try to compete with them, but through glee there are so many young people who have heard of Westside Story. If you are truly a fan of Westside.., you should be happy that more and more people are getting to know about it, regardless of the source.

Bug off. Seriously. Whenever glee does a cover, yes, the original is always amazing, but the glee covers are amazing in their own way. They try to make the glee versions completely different from the original, and it is different, but almost always great, just in a different way. I hate people like you who act as if glee has no right to cover great and classic songs and always saying they suck. Seriously get a life

This has better acting than the Glee version. I thought Glee did a great job on theirs, but this is just a classic.
