  • Hey didn't GE own NBC as well?

  • I wonder why Amtrak does not use the push/pull techinque with its Empire Service trains (New York to Albany). I think they could...all they need to do is put a Metroliner Cab car on the back...kinda like the Keystone trains.

  • if its a metro north loco y is it in NH paint r they partners?

  • Well Metro-North and the Connecticut DOT are indeed partners since MNRR goes up as far as New Haven on the main route/Northeast Corridor and Waterbury, Danbury and New Caanan on the diesel branches. These Gennies were painted in the old New York, New Haven and Hartford scheme as a tribute to the aforementioned railroad.

  • oo ok

  • Genesis 200-227 are in the Metro-North blue and silver with red trim, while 228-231 are in the old McGuiness New Haven Railroad red, white and black.

  • oo ok cool

  • P32 200 doesn't exist ;) 201 is the first P32 for Metro-North.

  • Danbury and Waterbury branches are diesel, New Canaan Branch is electrified.

  • Leslie SM-2... nice!

  • have you ever seen the Danbury Hatter(I think it is) i believe it's CDOT #6203

  • I honestly do not recall. I might have, but since I never followed the names of the Shoreliner Is and IIs, I cannot remember.

  • Hey! Its a solid New Haven consist!

  • How funny is that - a NH consist on the Hudson Line!

  • Awesome video!
