Anime dubbing for North America is very well done for what they do, and it extends the fanbase outside of the Japanese community/ Japanese speaking community, and allows for people to understand the story alot better and connect with the characters more, instead of just reading text. Sure they each have different styles and voices but they each work well in their own way and portray the character well.
