I read an interview of The Subways in a Rocksound magazine.... The singer and the girl had a relationship when the band was started. The drummer wrote the song BTW. I guess they were having sex in the place they were staying and it had really thin walls. So the drummer heard the whole thing and wrote this song. lmao.
